Currently, I am getting my masters degree in social work and will be graduating in May. I consider myself a very passionate and motivated person and I set the bar pretty high for myself. When I'm not studying or working, I like to go out and enjoy the city with friends - whether it be picnics in the park, sampling food and drinks at the latest neighborhood hotspot, or tearing it up on the dance floor. I love animals and to fulfill my desire to own a dog, I hope to start volunteering with one of the local animal shelters. I enjoy french press coffee, ethnic food - especially of the Asian variety, intelligent conversation, and crossword puzzles. Traveling is something that speaks to my adventurous spirit and not only have I been to many different countries, but I lived abroad as well. I enjoy yoga, going to live shows, and exploring the hidden nooks and crannies of this fine city. My ideal partner is someone who is confident in who he is and knows what he wants out of life. He's someone who can make me laugh and be silly, who is romantic and physically affectionate. He is attractive on the inside and out, a man with a heart of gold. He gets along famously with my friends and family because really knowing them is important to knowing me. He shares similar values and morals as me and has a positive outlook on life. He is adventurous and willing to scale mountains, ride motorbikes, and volunteer at orphanages with me around the world. Most importantly, I want someone who sees a relationship as a two-way street and is ready and willing to invest his time, effort, and heart into something special and long-lasting. If you don't meet the above criteria, please don't bother messaging me. I think the key to a successful first date is not to put too much pressure on it. Any situation where two people can have fun, be themselves, and get to know one another is ideal. I'm fine with the standard dinner date, but creative, unconventional dates are appealing too.

Well hello there!..or Mandy...you may decide since I go by both. I am a laid back and curious person who is always up for an adventure. I love to get in a car with no direction, no plan, and just see where you end up. While I was raised a city girl, I have the roots of a country girl. My mama wanted nothing more than for me to be her little princess; so I can dress up with the best, sing everywhere I go, and can cook almost anything. My dad wanted me to be his little tomboy so I grew up watching football, climbing trees, and skinning my knees with the best of them. I suppose it made me pretty well rounded. I will not pretend to be perfect sometimes I am impatient, too sarcastic, or won't admit when I need help. However, on the flip side, I am honest, creative, empathetic, and know how to use a power drill (that has to count for something right?). I love sports - Buckeyes, Cowboys, Reds, Lakers. You will never have to argue with me about watching football or March Madness...unless we can't agree on which game to watch. So what am I looking for in this big pond? Well, I would love to find someone who loves to laugh and keep things interesting. Life is way too short to be serious all of the time (there is a time and place for serious, but a smile is pretty universal). Someone who is ready for adventures (feeding giraffes, hiking to the falls when they freeze over, helping me learn to shoot a crossbow (I guarantee that will be interesting)). A man who is honest, caring, intelligent, and doesn't mind too much that I am 5'10" without shoes. I am up for anything. To me I think the first date really depends on who it is with. It can be something completely laid back like coffee, or it can be me totally maintaining my reign as the Air Hockey Champion of the World (I am too competitive to let you win...I know I really should let guys win at something like that...but I just can't). Sporting events, Art Museums, People Watching, we can watch the Puppy Bowl (okay...truthfully I watch that every year and may catch it as a rerun every once and a while...they are just so cute). I think with the right company, anything can be a good time.
