About Me

I’m not perfect, but then I’m a firm believer that no one is. I’m not going to sit here and lie about who I am, I’m fat. This will doubtlessly bother a lot of people, but I feel like I don’t need to hide what I look like to be cared for. I’m funny, and smart and quirky. I smile all the time even occasionally when I shouldn’t. If I had to match my personality to a TV character I’d say I’m kinda Xander from Buffy the Vampire slayer. I laugh as often as possible and make self-deprecating jokes more often than I should.I believe that life is for living, I’m not the greatest planner, but I’m learning. I like to live for the moment, and do what I want when it strikes me. Sadly this means I tend to do a lot of reading since that’s what strikes me most. I read anything, and everything. That’s my style for everything really, I’m not picky when it comes to genres, but I do like something’s better than others and an generally not afraid to say what I don’t like about something, be it books, music, TV. Jurassic Park scares the crap outta me but I still watch it anyway. I play or have played almost all the game systems since Atari (I know I’m too young for that, but I have older siblings). Survival horror is my game of choice, followed by Rpgs. I like to take walks, but I’ I like to stop and enjoy the world around me on strolls. I don’t hike, or play sports or kayak or anything like that. I’’s worth. I do like camping, but mainly the sitting-around-reading-while-toasting-marshmallows type of camping. I love telling stories, and will recount past exploits with great fever.I’m an aspiring writer who does more aspiring then writing but I have a ton of ideas floating around in my head and will occasionally space out to think one of them through, or disappear to jot down something before I forget it. I’m not a girly girl, in case you hadn’t figured that out thus far. My makeup is minimal at best and the only time you’re likely to see me in a skirt is at a wedding or a funeral. Food is a great love of mine, and good sushi is high on that list. I cook when I can though I consider myself still learning my way around the kitchen. I believe salads are good, but mainly as a side to a great steak, and really if I’m ordering a steak I’m probably having potatoes with it. I believe the quote, “It's not who you want to spend Friday night with, it's who you want to spend all day Saturday with.” Sums up my what-are-you-looking-for requirements.     About me ? Finally, I get the opportunity to sell myself , and I can't even be bothered to sell myself in what has become that standardized meetville Sales pitch...So cheers to my Quarky bullets.1). I'm 27... Going on OLD, OKAY IM JUST MATURE BY NATURE!! But Don't expect that i can have a good laugh or tease you like were in grade school!2). My family and work life is 90% of my life. Which means... I don't care for the bar scene and i really don't have much free time .... Some people may not be able to comprehend this dilemma.. Hence the reason of meetville! 3). I am dedicated, driven and yes I will try to do almost anything myself because i am definitely impatient with daily tasks and won't wait for Help :)4). Ooo... My favorite! Either you smoke or don't .. What the heck is occasional ??? Crap I've offended you already !!! Haha5). Which leads me to openly telling you that I am outspoken, intelligent and love when people can actually hold a conversation (Remember This Pointer).6). I Love to cook & and eat (Mostly healthy) It's only fun when it's not a chore or if someone's helping. 7). I'm not lazy! I love the being active & outdoors in the summer. In the winter, the YMCA for a little mental health.8). I favor many activities- this year is. Cycling, seadooing, maybe add some golf to the mix soon. I have snorkeling gear, kayak, a Snowboard and my own drill set just t throw that in there.....9). The negative- I had ACL surgery about 6 mths ago. So i am still a little apprehensive and playing it safe.10). I like Cars & Toys and am no stranger to liking nice things..But don't we all ?11). Hockey sucks and I probably won't watch it...if you can change this, ill forever be impressed- i wish you luck already!! HaHa12). I love design of all sorts.. Within the home, web and anything creative. Im just as much Left Brain as Right !!!13). My dog is awesome, she's a bossy little frenchy and my Life.What i am looking for is someone who is down to earth, who has goals and ambitions, likes nice things but someone who isn't a narcissist. Someone who is active and enjoys activities rather then sitting around all the time.. Right now, i can't say that i am looking for much past getting to know some new people, a few good conversations with common interests is the pretty much the start for me...If that all pans out, i guess you never know where you'll end up !!!
