Okay, random stuff about a stranger in 3...2...1...Let's see.... How 'bout we get the basics out of the way first, shall we? I'm a college graduate in my late twenties who works retail. Hmm... you can see all that in my profile, though, huh? Alright then, I'm a quirky gal who loves a good conversation more than pretty much anything else. I survive on a rich diet of witty banter, relaxed atmospheres, good friends, and lots of music. Any music. My tastes there are pretty broad. I'm an artist at heart, and occasionally pull out the old paintbrush/camera/charcoal/notebook to unwind. I'm a geek, though that's become so widespread these days, I'd have to amend that to "moderate geek." I've been known to dabble in the world of online gaming, comics, scifi characters and anime. I'm not above (below?) building my own computer. I enjoy walking outside on a nice day just as much as chilling on the couch and watching a show. I "love" driving with the windows down, staring at the moon, and dancing like and idiot. I "hate" political/religious arguments, seafood, and using the word "I" so friggin' much. I have some pretty long-term relationships in my past, but I've decided to be a bit more cautious before going there again. I'm looking for someone who can spark my interest and have fun with me, while doing whatever comes along. This is a new thing for me, so I'm interested to see what happens.***Update or sidenote or whatever: I'm a decent person. I was raised to be polite and treat others with the respect they deserve. What bothers me on here are all the "gentle chidings" about "common courtesy." Seriously, guys, try for one day being a girl on this site. You outnumber us like crazy. Do you even want to know how many messages I received my first week? ...just last night? I might not reply to any of them. Because I'm a stuck up, rude, terrible person? No...and I've gotten over that stigma. I hate being ***, so this is a terrible double standard, but I won't reply "just to be nice." I tried that for a while and most of you took it to mean I wanted something back, even when I spelled out what I meant. I figure if you bothered to read this far, then you deserve the warning. Of course...sometimes I'm just really bad at responding right away...even to people I think I might have a lot in common with...but you'll have a better shot if I have something more to go off of than "Hi," "Hey," or *groan* "hru?" I guess I'm pretty unimaginative when it comes to a first date... dinner and a movie sounds fine to me. More importantly, I'd pick whatever I thought would give us a chance to talk and relax a bit... maybe a walk at the park or on the beach... or maybe check out some of the cool galleries downtown. If you have something fun you're excited about sharing with me,though, then that's even better. I'm not a super-athletic type and I'm *so* not a thrill seeker (read as: No skydiving, please :P) but bring it on. I'll do my best to keep up. That being said, if all you want to do is chat for a bit at a cafe/diner/etc, then I'm perfectly fine with that, too. Let's just take a chance on getting to know each other and go from there.
