Where to begin? It's difficult to get to know someone based on a little blurb they typed up in their spare time. While I'm not new to the online dating thing (this site in particular), it's not something I exactly enjoy so please forgive me if my profile appears a little lacklustre. I'm sure I'll fine tune things as time goes on.I'm a country girl who enjoys spending time in the city. I love animals, spending time outdoors, reading and staying active. I go to the gym quite regularly and am therefore looking for someone who also holds their health as a high priority. My family and friends mean everything to me. Without them I'd be nothing. I always have a book on the go. I'm a bit of a nerd. I enjoy the occasional video game. Brains are just as sexy as muscle and poor grammar is an *** off. I'm not a bar star and rarely drink. I outgrew it at 19. While I enjoy my current job, it's not what I want to do forever. So I will be heading back to Charlottetown for school in the fall of ***. I figured I'd throw that in since it will end up eating up a lot of my time when I go back and I need someone who can deal with that. Currently, though, I manage to keep fairly busy, between work and doing the things that I enjoy. However, I'm looking for someone to spend the downtime with and who can share experiences with me. That someone needs to be supportive. They need to know how to compromise, be affectionate yet strong, have a good sense of humour and to have goals. They should either have a career or be working toward obtaining one. I refuse to put up with self centeredness or to cater to someone. Relationships are give and take.     I'd say that I'm pretty much your average 25 year old girl but if my *** be believed, most 25 year old girls are married and/or saddled with children. So I guess that makes me an exception to the rule. Actually, I think that sums me up quite nicely, I was never a big fan of rules anyway. I have a job, not a career, and for those of you who read that and think, 'I want a girl who knows what she wants to do!' think a little more about that before you judge those of us who are willing to try things out before making decisions. I am an easy going, patient person who is slow to anger and doesn't hold a grudge, I just don't see the point. In saying that, I am very opinionated and am usually pretty passionate about those opinions, however I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I am an avid animal lover, I have 3 spoiled cats (well 2 cats and a kitten) of my own that I adore and some day wouldn't mind having a dog (space permitting of course). I have a sarcastic sense of humour that gets me in to trouble as often as not, and I love to be surrounded by funny people who can make me laugh. For a first date I'd be open to do pretty much anything that would allow us to get to know one another better!
