About Me

I like to spend time with family & friends, travelling, boating, bonfires on the beach, downhill skiing, camping, canoeing, running, deck parties, entertaining, dancing, riding horseback on the beach, watching sunrises, and looking at the stars on a brisk night! I have recently started taking Salsa and Bachata lessons and am loving it!!I'm educated, confident (but not arrogant or the know it all type), independent, romantic, affectionate, and a lot of fun. I'm spontaneous and adventurous so I'll try just about anything but may need a little encouragement depending on the activity. Music plays a big role in my life. My mood determines what genre I listen to. I'm very open and accepting of most things with the exception of dishonesty. Tell me the truth or don't tell me anything at all!!! My career is very important to me and I have been fairly successful so far. I have been categorized as being, too driven from time to time. I am very passionate about what I do, what can I say? My friends would tell you that I am independent, loyal, generous, caring, very accepting of differences, and fun. I'm a good listener and love to talk about almost anything but politics. Someone recently told me that I can be country or classy and everything in between. I guess that shows how adaptable I am. ;) I'm looking for someone to get to know and spend time with in hopes of a more serious relationship down the road. I'm to a point in my life that I don't rush into relationships or someones bed. I truly believe letting a friendship grow into what it was meant to be is so much more rewarding. I hope to find the kind of relationship where mutual respect, honesty, love, and affection is given freely. I believe a true relationship is when your partner stands beside you and you work as a team, stands in front of you to shield you, and stands behind you to support you at the appropriate times. I absolutely hate drama and have been known to exclude people from my life that thrives on it. You must be willing to accept me for who I am. I'm attacted to men who are assertive, know what they want, and know how to express their feelings. They need to be honest, loyal, and make me laugh;; comical but yet knows how/when to be serious; romantic and will plan dates from time to time; open in expressing his feelings and knows how to express them in a positive way; Definitely needs to be a cuddler (love to snuggle on the couch watching movies or listening to music). I have a strong faith in God and use christian values to guide my life. I am by no means holier than thou and am definitely a work in progress. I will always be on a road of self improvement. My number one priority are my kids. The people that I choose to have in my life need to be strong enough to understand that and accept them. :) I have a very amicable friendship with my ex and his wife and we all are committed to keeping it that way. A first date would consist of fun and laughter. A comedy club, putt putt golf, a walk in the park. I'm flexible.

    Giving this another try. Why... well why not? Life is what you make of it, do nothing, nothing happens. Just want to touch on the body type options, if there was an option for curvy I would choose that because its the truth and it sounds sexier than a few extra pounds.
