I like to spend time with family & friends, travelling, boating, bonfires on the beach, downhill skiing, camping, canoeing, running, deck parties, entertaining, dancing, riding horseback on the beach, watching sunrises, and looking at the stars on a brisk night! I have recently started taking Salsa and Bachata lessons and am loving it!!I'm educated, confident (but not arrogant or the know it all type), independent, romantic, affectionate, and a lot of fun. I'm spontaneous and adventurous so I'll try just about anything but may need a little encouragement depending on the activity. Music plays a big role in my life. My mood determines what genre I listen to. I'm very open and accepting of most things with the exception of dishonesty. Tell me the truth or don't tell me anything at all!!! My career is very important to me and I have been fairly successful so far. I have been categorized as being, too driven from time to time. I am very passionate about what I do, what can I say? My friends would tell you that I am independent, loyal, generous, caring, very accepting of differences, and fun. I'm a good listener and love to talk about almost anything but politics. Someone recently told me that I can be country or classy and everything in between. I'm to a point in my life that I don't rush into relationships or someones bed. I truly believe letting a friendship grow into what it was meant to be is so much more rewarding. I believe a true relationship is when your partner stands beside you and you work as a team, stands in front of you to shield you, and stands behind you to support you at the appropriate times. I absolutely hate drama and have been known to exclude people from my life that thrives on it. You must be willing to accept me for who I am. I'm attacted to men who are assertive, know what they want, and know how to express their feelings. They need to be honest, loyal, and make me laugh;; comical but yet knows how/when to be serious; romantic and will plan dates from time to time; open in expressing his feelings and knows how to express them in a positive way; Definitely needs to be a cuddler (love to snuggle on the couch watching movies or listening to music). I have a strong faith in God and use christian values to guide my life. I am by no means holier than thou and am definitely a work in progress. I will always be on a road of self improvement. My number one priority are my kids. The people that I choose to have in my life need to be strong enough to understand that and accept them. :) I have a very amicable friendship with my ex and his wife and we all are committed to keeping it that way. A first date would consist of fun and laughter. A comedy club, putt putt golf, a walk in the park. I'm flexible.

    Let me first start out by saying that I am me and I love who I am! I've been through plenty of sh*t in my life and have managed to make it out on top. I don't regret anything I've done in my life, as it has made me who I am.So who am I, you ask? I'm a 41 y/o single mother of 3 who lives in a small town and works as an EMT. I also volunteer as an assistant medical examiner and am an *** so I teach people how to become EMT's. My job allows me to be home a lot, therefore I'm able to be there for my kids, ages 18, 17 and 14. My oldest is in her first year of college and next school year I'll have a senior and a freshman... boy does that make me feel old!I enjoy lots of outdoor things during spring/summer/fall. I'm not a huge fan of the cold but if I have something I'm enjoying doing, I don't mind being outside in the winter. I love camping and have a small pop up. I enjoy campfires and fishing. I also like doing indoor things like bowling, pool etc, plus hanging out at home cuddled up watching a movie. As long as I'm with someone I enjoy spending time with, I really love going places. I'm hoping to get back into a healthier lifestyle, fit working out back into my life as well... it would be great to have a partner, someone to work out with and motivate each other.I recently almost finished paramedic school but due to the program I was in, I have to take the entire program all over again but not the same one (LONG story that maybe I'll share someday!). So, I'm hoping to start a new paramedic program in September.I'm hoping to find someone who is honest and open, as that's the type of person I am. I also want someone who isn't afraid to communicate with me. I feel that communication is very important in a relationship. Trustworthy is also a good trait. That's been a problem in my past with relationships. I'm not looking for a quick roll in the hay or to discuss my personal preferences in the bedroom. If that's all you're looking for, I'm sure there are other women on here that are and there are other sites out there for that.As I stated in the beginning, I am me and I love who I am. I'm not skinny, I have curves. If you're not interested in a woman with curves, I respect that. Everyone is attracted to different body types. To me, looks aren't as important as personality. Yes, I need to be attracted to a person BUT someone who is caring, loving, passionate and maybe a little romantic, will get more of my attention.
