Looking for: man. In age: 38-48
I'm a feisty red head looking for an intelligent, young at heart guy. I don't like most guys, but... I am not interested in most guys and perhaps that is what makes those few unique individuals that I do connect with all the more special. About myself - restless, analytical, and opinionated. I am independent but far from being a feminist. Sarcasm is a spice of life, so bring it on.

Looking for a compatible mate. Me:I have 1 child over 18 and am not having any more, ever. If you have several small children I am NOT the one for you.Love coffee & sushi but not necessarily together. ;-)Horror buff but interested in all genres of movies, books and music (okay, don't care for country).Like to fish but am NOT a country girl. I have been described as pretty, funny, having nice hair, geeky (by my daughter), intelligent, quick witted, strong, independent and occasionally a real smart ass. I don't fit into a neat descriptive box. I'm all over the place and love it!Would like to find someone I can hold a conversation with but also sit in silence with and it not be awkward. (-:One more thing...I DO look like my pics. No glamor shots, photo shops, etc. I don't false advertise and would appreciate it if you didn't either. :-)You:Caucasian is the box you check to describe yourself.Intelligence is sexy, half naked selfies are not!Nice teeth or at least the illusion of...Does NOT own a cowboy hat or large belt buckle.Professional tattoos are hot. Prison tats are not. Someplace that isn't too loud to hear each other talk. Coffee Underground is a favorite spot of mine.

What a unique experience it has been for me so far. A conversation worth saving for a later time. The same characteristics that I find within myself. To me this reflects peace. If I could just bottle that moment up and give it as a gift, along with a hug, perhaps then I could begin to express how I feel about myself. Free of drama.Yes, I do believe in working hard for the things that matter most to me. I own a home with property near the lake. I consider myself as a caretaker of this piece of land and have taken time throughout the year to remove tree stumps or various debris left from previous owners. Being a caretaker is one of my outlets to show compassion. I truly enjoy all the interests I have listed above. I believe variety is the spice of life. There is so much to learn and so many avenues of exploration. Exploring is what I believe makes life entertaining. What really makes a new adventure fun for me is when I am around someone who shares their passion and expertise with me.I love to travel. I have been to 36 states in my life time. I have not had the opportunity yet to explore the southwest. I would like to take a nice long weekend once a month to go visit these areas.I envision myself with someone who has a like heart. Someone to have a conversation with over a glass of wine next to the fireplace, soft music in the background. Someone to hug and hold hands with. Someone who enjoys life: some old traditions mixed up with new adventures. The first date:We can talk it over and create it together. I am comfortable and relaxing to be around. We could go for a nice lunch or dinner, a place with ambiance (I envision a fire place in the background)I enjoy skiing.
