It really seems fairly simple to me. I wish I could find a kind man who doesn't pretend to be something he is not. Someone who understands that a relationship is about giving as well as taking - life isn't black and white. And I’m looking for a man who really understands what respect means. It's very important I find a man who understands how to accept that sometimes he might be wrong. We are all imperfect human beings; we don't always do or say the right things. But it's OK. We must accept responsibility and move forward. Of course, I’m looking for a friend; and companionship first. Someone to relax with and just hang out; and enjoy life. A bit of drama always seems to creep into any relationship, but please we don’t need to add to that by our own actions. I’m looking for a man who can appreciate what is right in front of him. I am far from perfect, but basically, I'm just a "normal" lady: without a drug or alcohol problem. I don't take myself too seriously. I love to laugh. I'm financially secure (NO not wealthy) and am looking for the same in a partner. I enjoy working together with my partner in the yard, the pool or whatever projects need to be done. In the winter I enjoy a good book or movie while snuggled up to a warm fire. I enjoy cooking, but it's no fun to cook for one. I LOVE the Packers and football overall. I have two children who are the best part of me and both are productive members of society! AMEN! I can't wait to be a grandma someday. I'm pretty much a tell it like it is kind of person. I try to stay fit and active, nope, I’m not a twig, but I have lots of love to offer! I enjoy the world around us - and I live very close to Devil's Lake - a beautiful place to hike. I love to sing, and will occasionally do Karaoke. But I enjoy my church choir and singing for weddings or whenever anyone asks. Most important - I LOVE TO LAUGH! It does a body good! At 53 I am realistic about the work required to make a relationship work. But it’s important to me that we both are willing to put in the effort. If we do, the rest should come easy. At our age, we've all seen a whole lot of life already. Some I'm sure we'd like to forget! But there is a lot of life yet to live. I'd love to do it with a good man. I have loved well but not too wisely. I’m tired of giving my heart to people who are not willing to honor that gift. I really enjoy travelling and being spontaneous. Not a lot of baggage here so it's easy to pack! I am young at heart for sure. OK enough about me for now. If you think we might enhance each other's lives, I’d love to hear from you.
