I agree people need to be comfortable as friends and determine if there is any more to go on;however,I feel it is very important to let people know your intentions of long term or only ever friends.(below.. and not in this order for they are all #1 with me)Passion, Attitude , Understanding, Trust and Communication. Are the most important things in a relationship even.... if the relationship is that of frends, lovers, or soulmates (I whould like to find them all) ...but with that being said in life all things are not allways what we perceive them to be and many times in communication words or meaning's get lost in translation. I'm looking for someone who loves the idea, as I do, of sitting around a campfire and smelling the fragrance of trees and water in the air. I enjoy walking with my two lab mix dogs and would love a companion to walk with me. I'm spontaneous and I've enjoyed jumping on a horse or a Harley in the spur of the moment and coming back to nice cup of coffee or espresso. I'd like to find someone who TRULY likes dogs, not just tolerates them. I'm afraid mine believe they are human. I am into self-development and choose to be around people who are on the positive side of life. In otherwords, have a strong sense of who they are, healthy self esteem and a respect for others. Many of us have been through lifes trials, but how they are responded to says alot about who we are and where we are at in life. I'd like to be friends first and see where it goes from there. If we can't be good friends then the other won't have a chance to bloom. I'm not interested in having contact with anyone outside of the United States. I've had my children, raised them and enjoy being in this stage of my life. I love children, but i'm looking to be with someone who has children older than pre-teen, with the exception of those wonderful grandchildren, of course. If the situation were right, it wouldn't be a deal breaker, but I do enjoy having my children grown and the independence that provides. He's three hours away and what seems a lifetime ago. I'm happy for the first time in years and didn't know how much he had been dragging me down. My only issue is that I don't have a nice guy to hang out with on my days off.I spent the first few months here concentrating on my my new career and getting my state license. I'm now happily employed and love doing my new job.There is so much to see in this part of the state that I haven't gotten out to see yet. I'm looking for a nice guy who would like to take me out to see his special places. I'm willing to experience new things. I wouldn't mind touring on the back of a motorcycle as a passenger (hint, hint!).I enjoy cooking and spending quiet time at home. I like to play puzzle games on the computer and read historical novels. I'm not a great dancer and prefer slow dancing (stand-up make out). I enjoy outdoor activities and hope to find someone with horses.I have a great sense of humor and try to make people laugh. I like to have great conversations and learn about other people. Meeting for drinks and/or dinner. A quiet place where we can talk without having to shout.
