Let's see....I'm outgoing, fun, love to laugh, and NOT a fan of drama. I am comfortable in a little black dress and heels or jeans and cowboy boots. I like burgers and a cold beer...or an upscale restaurant and a good bottle of wine. I enjoy my cottage in the country and enjoy the relaxed lifestyle there...time around the fire pit with a bottle of wine, listening to good music, hosting friends for BBQs and dinner parties. I really enjoy spending time outside. I do need a city fix now and then---new restaurants, live music, theater or the symphony. Sundays at the Farmers Market are fun. I like to travel near and far. There is nothing like a spontaneous road trip...just tossing a bag in the back seat and hitting the road. Maybe the beach? Maybe the mountains? I Hiked the Great Wall several times and took dumpling cooking classes...and of course did some shopping! The trip of a lifetime! I am enjoying my second career as a nurse and recently accepted a school nurse position. I love the kids and give out lots of hugs and band aids every day...wonderful!-7a hospital shifts are a bonus!As happy as I am at this point in my life, I'm ready to be in a relationship. I have worked hard and look forward the next chapter and a little more fun. I'm interested in meeting a kindhearted gentleman, with similar interests, a quick wit...and a good kisser. Is this you? Have 1 daughter still at home but she is 20, so I am pre-empty nest... Just realizing that I would like to have a partner to take my hand and lead me into the rest of my life. I am not into game playing, smokers or anyone following the 12 steps (I commend you, but I need a drama free life). I didn't do things right the first time around and I am determined to get it right this time as this may be our "Last Call!!!" I really want to find my best real friend that will turn into something more...I am not superficial or materialistic, so looks and money are not an issue (as long as you can dress yourself in the morning and have a decent job, I can take care of myself!) What gets me going is a nice smile and must have a killer sense of humor and above average appetite for affection. I am not about the numbers in your age.... I have been told that I look and act a lot younger than my years. As long as you are young at heart... I totally enjoy photography (my first love), & the outdoors (just please no hiking!). I do love to camp and go boating. Love to ride motorcycles, travel, & spending time with my kids and grandkiddies. I have a laid back 7 year old cat, a 1 year old true "American Mutt" dog. I love garage & estate sales, antiqueing and finding a good bargain. Yes, I do enjoy hanging out at home gardening, decorating or just snuggled in for a good movie or TV show. I know it sounds cheesy, but I would LOVE to learn to salsa or partner dance. I am a hopeless romantic, and keep telling myself that I just haven't found the right man to sweep me off my feet... Are you him? While I am looking for the right guy, I am not in any hurry.... taking it slow may be the better way to go... What ever the mood strikes for us...where we can get to know each other, maybe a drink, or a picnic, walk in the park, etc... Depends on the person the day and whatever we decide!...
