I am a mother of 4 grown children and 5 young grandchildren. I am a very independent woman who is emotionally and financially stable. God has blessed my life with wonderful friends and family. I am fortunate to have the grandkids close by which enables me to spoil them. I have been blessed with good health and retirement at an early age. I feel and act as though I'm still 30. I would rather go dancing than eat when I'm hungry......which is saying a lot. I consider myself a patient, easy-going, friendly person with a good sense of humor. I am a good listener that enjoys meeting new people and experiencing new things. I have high morals and values. I love children of all ages. I would like someone who has a healthy sense of humor that makes me laugh. He should be witty but not obnoxious or sarcastic. Honesty and sincerity are important. Intelligence is a "BIG" turn-on for me. I do not like game playing, arguing or fighting in relationships. Mutual respect is very important to me. He should not be jealous and controlling as I am not that kind of person either. A relationship should be built on trust in one another. I would want the special person in my life to be my best friend. I would want someone that believes in God as God is very important part of my life. Being on Match. Com is a science project. It's all about chemistry. Hopefully, I will be able to find that special person to spend the rest of my life with. However, if I don't, I'm sure I will make a lot of good friends along the way. Nothing makes me happier than to travel to a foreign country and "freelance" my way through. It is the best way of all to meet the people and enjoy other cultures. Traveling in groups is not for me. One of my favorite memories is spending the summer "back-packing" The Mediterreanean is a mysterious purple color in the middle of the night! I guess my life is full of contridictions but I feel that one should go through life never losing the desire to learn or experience something new.

Now fortunately, after all these years, things have started to simmer down and some stability is on my horizon. I'm at a place in my life, where I can now reap the benefits of the experiences it has given me, and for that I am very grateful. However, I am an adventurer at heart and find tremendous joy in travel and aiding others in less traveled areas of the world when the opportunity arises. There is an explorer that lives deep within me, and channeling my energy can sometimes be a challenge, even for me. No, it really not quite that bad, I'm just having a little fun... But do admit, if I were independently wealthy, I would spend much more time abroad helping others. But, I do feel I am better suited to spend my time with someone who shares my interests rather than with someone who wants to try to change me. I love music, playing the piano, gardening, spending time in nature, photography, collecting art to enjoying fine food and company.Well, more on this later...Clearly, this is a work in progress..Have a fine day...BTW - I really won't respond to winks..It's just not my style.. Surprise me... Actually, I guess it is situation dependent.. but surprises are nice...
