About Me

I'm in my second semester of grad school in the English Studies program. I'm passionate, weird, quirky, and intelligent. I'm a single mom of an incredible 6 year old and I'm obsessed with my dachshunds; Hamlet and Ophelia. I'm not looking for a hookup so don't insult me, I won't be nice about it.

Hi... Thanks so much for dropping in. Now a little about myself.;off leash", Bonus, if you love/like/tolerate dogs. I generally keep quite active however very much enjoy my quiet time. Listen to a vast variety of music and have a silly, fun, witty sense of humour. I have been told that I'm a wee bit independent. I guess "the difference is" I don't necessarily "Need" a man to share my life with, I "Want"a man to share my life with. I believe strongly in integrity and kindness both possessing and in others, without a doubt "laughter truly is the best medicine", there is always a solution to any problem (drama not required),and in some situations accepting, "It Just Is What It Is". . Born and raised in a small town, have lived in the city. Choose to live the lifestyle of the quiet country. Generally am attracted to taller men, close to my age (either way) that are physically active/fit. Please excuse my bluntness however, chemistry is a must for me and also a great kisser, not just a good one LOL. For a solid foundation, friends first. Not interested in Serial Dating, just "The Real Thing".If by chance you send me a message (thank you), and I don't respond I feel as though we are not a good fit. Sorry... I wish you well in your quest.Pics only please, it's only fair Something light and fun.

Came here start up a business with a friend who seemed interested in his business idea until I got here. Once I arrived I discovered his health wasn't that great and he wasn't that interested or motivated to do the business after all. So there's no reason to stay in this boring town. In a few months I'm out of here for good. Looking for a well-travelled, sophisticated, smart man. I prefer foreign men ideally who are well-traveled, sophisticated, cultured, super smart, and entrepreneurial. I like super nerds/techies and professor types in addition to entrepreneurs. I need someone who is well-traveled and cultured.I've travelled all over the world and have many interests and have had a number of occupations in various industries including fashion, the arts, international sales and technology. I'm an entrepreneur at heart and am working on my next venture(s). I take care of myself and am kind of a health nut. Will reveal more in private e-mails if interested. I like foreign men particularly Asian. Also open to the idea of leaving America to live abroad permanently if I found the right person. Also, the climate appeals to me. The only thing that seems to be lacking is the multi-cultural aspect of an international city but otherwise from what I've read it sounds pretty good. I lived abroad for over 10 years in different cultures where I adopted various likes and values which is why I tend to go out with foreign men. They seem to have a broader, world perspective that a lot of Americans lack. Like most people I'm looking for someone who I can share common experiences and interests with. The most important thing about a first date is that we have a chance to talk and get to know each other so going to a movie or a concert probably wouldn't provide the best opportunity for a lot of conversation. I think perhaps going out for a drinks and appetizers followed by viewing a new show at a gallery would be fun. Or meeting for dinner or coffee and a walk in an interesting area of town (hope there are interesting areas in town). It's not so important what the itinerary is but that there is an opportunity for conversation.
