.. One day a farmer's donkey fell down into a well. The animal cried piteously for hours asthe farmer tried to figure out what to do.Finally, he decided the animal was old, and the well needed to be covered up anyway;it just wasn't worth it to retrieve the donkey. Hi there, not wanting to ramble on and bore anyone. The important bits first, I have my own house, car and full time job. I like the outdoors, traveling and holidays, listening to music (rock and not so rock) and in between I'm quite happy with nights in with a decent film. I have a talent for cooking and I'm always trying new things. While I enjoy alcohol on occasion (responsibly of course!) I sometimes prefer a decent coffee shop to a bar.One of my hobbies is scuba diving and is frequently used as a reason for a holiday to find warmer weather. I value friendships very highly and my friends have described me as a loyal and dependable person, open and easy going and easy to get along with. I would like to find someone who is honest, with a good sense of humour and straightforward but then who wouldn't? On the sensible-crazy scale I would put myself nearer to sensible but apparently I have a good sense of humour too. I consider myself to be independent.It's only an introduction and I'm not selling my life story on here by any stretch.
