Okay... second time around on meetville -I have recently updated my profile, although the description of myself has not changed, I felt out of fairness to you, and me, I should really include what I am looking for. :o) First a little about me. I am a fitness buff. I have worked out for 20 plus years and enjoy doing so.You don't need to have that same level of affection, but you must take care of yourself. If you can't respect your own temple, you certainly won't respect mine. :o) To follow that , I eat very well, and due to that fact, I actually find enjoyment in grocery shopping. I also enjoy camping, hiking, flea-marketing, thrifting, love a good wine and checking out new places to go for eats. Dancing, a good night out dancing, oh yeah, not only that, its GREAT excersise. I have a set of great friends *** this point in my life , my gals, and enjoy meeting up w/ them *** times to chew the fat.I have a deep affection for motorcycles, and when spring is in the air, you will find me on one. Would be great If you ride as well, so *** times I can find myself on your's . Note, this is not a deal breaker , but certainly worth mentioning. I am looking for someone who is diverse in what they will do in terms of their spare time. No more, "sorry, I don't like to do that", attitude for me. Life is too short! You must have some drive, diversity, life skills, people skills. I LOVE to watch the news . as it keeps me connected w/ what is going on in the world. Please come to the table w/ some social skills. I mean If i ask you "did you watch the State of Union Address" and you're like "what".. "what's that ", this is not going to work. I am not being mean , but there is no commonality there, and that's what we are looking for right? I've achieved various goals in my life, but I truly believe we should "stretch" ourselves on a daily basis, so my goals change as life changes. I volunteer when and where I can and find it GIVES back in so many ways TEN FOLD. I aspire to be the best person I can possibly be for me, god, my family and friends. My family, my friends and my spirituality have carried me through some very difficult times, so Its important to me that I always try to the right thing whenever possible. I go to church on Sunday, not every , but as much as possible. I'm not a holy roller but please believe in something. I enjoy spending time w/ my family, so you will have to as well. No , not like sleep-overs...!! Just normal stuff that some are opposed to. If you fall into that category, please don't bother. I am not jealous person, I am very secure , and expect the same of my partner. One more time - expect the same of my partner. Okay, I think that's clear enough. LOL I can appreciate all kinds of music and listen to Adelle when irritated. Aahh.. the voice of an angel. Other than that, I'm very regimented Sunday through Thursday , up w/ the birds, down w/ the sun. Yep, you got it. Come Friday and Saturday , my belief is moderation is key, as I like to enjoy lifeLast but not least, please have your own place...THAT would not be defined as the room you grew up in as a child. Don't laugh , it happens. Sorry to those who fall into that footprint. I know times are tough, but that's when you dig in. I won't do "sleep-overs" in a room that you grew up in as a child. Isn't going to happen. Look forward to chatting. I'm looking to get to know someone first, not rush right into a serious relationship. I really hope to meet someone with an infectious smile and who is happy in general that sees the glass half full.I enjoy the movies, cars, motorcycles/ ATVs, dining, watching some sports, cooking, volunteer work, and gathering with friends. Music.. I'll just break that down because I love it and it varies from 80s hair bands & 90s alternative to the modern stuff, some classical, celtic, and classic rock; I don't do rap at all, it depends on which punk era, and country is ok for you but hasn't grown on me yet. Tattoos...so many to love but none of my own, yet, simply because I can't choose. Piercings..some are ok, everywhere=not. I have an honest & faithful heart, free spirit personality and I like to steer clear of the foofoo drama crowds. I'm casual and comfortable, prefer beer over wine, and know how to take care of myself but it's great to share life with others ;) I'm a work in progress at the gym with coming off a complicated shoulder injury.First impression of me might be a bit shy or reserved but when I crack, you'll find someone that loves to laugh and have a good time, with a twist of sarcasm (who, me? never). I'm not into the bar and dancing scenes anymore; I’m just a casual lady with a laid back life looking for someone to spend it with. I'm a West Coast transplant so distance isn't a major concern of mine-I'm used to commutes...lol. Why limit yourself to a zone when your soul mate cold be anywhere? My kids are grown but yours are fine; not interested in physically having more myself. Honesty is a must; if that’s not your style then please pass on by. Guys-I'm not into the games & drama, serial daters, or those desiring to have an online/texting relationships-I expect to see & know the real you. And if you like to hunt animals, I’m sorry but it’s not for me-so that’s up to you to decide, but I personally won't partake in it. I think attraction is a big part of chemistry, BUT it is not limited to just appearance; it has to come from within as much as it does from the surface. Things in common are great, but I believe everyone needs their differences too. I have my tried & trues, but I'm also open to exploring & learning new experiences.My ideal man knows what he wants and is comfortable with whom he is and where he's headed. He can talk openly with me about anything (later on) but also enjoys quiet time together and/or apart. He is gracious, yet fun and knows when to be which; comfortable in his own skin, but can dress it up on occasion; compassionate with others; loves animals & nature; cares about himself, but doesn’t obsess about it. He is open to continual growth and can commit to a transparent relationship; takes responsibility for his choices, but learns from them as well (we all make mistakes).Questions, want to know more, chat & see where it goes?
