Well, for openers I enjoy all types of outdoor activities. I have an admiration for restored classic Chevy's.. Dining out, spending time with friends, and meeting new people are other entertaining ways of spending free time.... I enjoy reading and collecting all types of books. . And one might say that I'm quite expressive while cooking, and being creative in the kitchen. :) ... I am looking for a spark, a connection...Ya know... " Simple Science & Chemistry ! " ..While having some fun, as I am currently recruiting for that one partner in crime !Ok..down to the basics.. I am looking for a real woman, who knows herself, knows what she wants. Someone that is down to earth, and a sense of adventure ! Humor is a Big Plus in My book. If you can't laugh at yourself, or each other, and know it's all just 'funnin'..then why bother ? Life's far too serious already !I have an nine year old son ( my only child ). Being a Dad does require a good share of my time and committment. However, I still have plenty of free time to be social.I have a candid, 'shoot from the hip' sense of humor, and I make no apologies for being funny ! I have a compassionate, caring side, and You might say I'm comfortable in my own skin :)Don't be shy ! A Smile or a note is a great way to break the ice with me.. Let's have some fun while getting to know each other. :) “A quiet, romantic restaurant, candlelight, a bottle of wine & two glasses...and some fun & interesting conversation...and then ? ( use your imagination ! )”

I'm not here to bs anybody nor play games. I think most women have a preconceived notion about men on dating sites and probably deservedly so. But we aren't all like that. I don't lie, as in I have made telling the truth my religion, it's the only way to live (and I will be the first to admit, telling the truth is one lesson I've learned the hard way but I've finally learned it nonetheless), I don't judge, I'm considerate and treat people with respect. If you've already decided I'm full of it and just trying to get in your pants than keep moving. If however that's not you and you are also looking for a relationship (or at least an adventure) if you are honest, if your friends would call you sincere, kind and considerate, if you love to laugh and are interested in the world around you than please continue reading. I'm hard working, I have goals and I strive always to be a gentleman by making it a philosophy and a way if life. I am looking for love ultimately but firmly believe you can't and shouldn't try to make it happen. In the mean time I'm up for dating, anything fun really. More about me...I'm going to school in the spring to finally finish a bachelors degree. I work as a driver and am learning cabinetry/finish carpentry. I hope to become a specialty contractor and start an interior design and construction company. In other words yes I'm rebuilding myself at 45. And no I don't make alot of money. Have screwed my finances terribly but getting it together now. And while I'm on the subject of my screw ups let's just get it all out there...I've changed colleges twice (not counting various community colleges along the way), and majors 3 times and still haven't graduated. I've been in more than new accident, including one during my a driving test! I've tried nearly every drug out there. Fortunately none of them took and now I just do caffeine, and a little alcohol, ien a few beers some weekends or wine with dinner. Oh and I almost forgot the DUI in ***, followed by another arrest for driving on a suspended license (because of the DUI) then another ticket for being on a metro station platform without a ticket. Didn't finish taking care of all three if those tickets so wound up in jail for a week. But thcbiggest screw up of all has just been the chronic lying. However a decision a year ago to come completely clean and make honesty my new religion has led me to doing things like posting this ridiculously detailed description of myself on a public profile. Moving on, for the record I'm not a hobo, don't do drugs. I rent a room but at least drive a decent car. I don't smoke (anymore) and am trying to take better care of myself. I think I look pretty good so I put "average" for body type but I need to lose about 20 pounds. I'm 5'8", 180. I have one daughter and spend as much time with her as I can so don't have alot of free time. But when possible I like fly fishing when I get the chance, going out for breakfast and I enjoy a few drinks now and then or just good coffee and conversation. Also like movies, playing poker or any old board game with friends (although most of my friends have moved away damnit). Anything to do with art, architecture or music is good. I love museums, downtown, the beach or visitinginteresting buildings and structures. Oh and can't forget the Lakers and Dodgers! If you actually read all of this you may be as nuts as me so please feel free to write. ";; ahh to be as smoov as J.T.
