I'm going to start off on a serious note. I have a very balanced, simple life by choice. I've been told that I'm better on my worst day than most women are on their best day so if you're looking for a woman with a good head on her shoulders, you will probably be pleasantly surprised.Making other people happy makes me very happy. Currently, I am working on the illustrations for my first children's book having to do with invisible disabilities. I always have several projects going on at a time. I would love to find someone who can lead or be willing to learn salsa. I don't want to be rude in any way, but I would prefer to go out with an African-American man. Doing what is 'right' is of major importance to me, along with strength, integrity and wisdom. That will suffice for now ... and I will share more personal things about me as time goes on. I promise. And I have absolutely no problem forwarding more pictures :) 'First Date' doesn't sit quite right with me. I would prefer meeting at the park, talking, maybe even kick our feet on the swing set. I'm a realist. I refuse to type in this little box, "we can go to dinner, see a movie, take a walk on the beach ...." ' I believe that it's hard to pretend you like someone that you don't, but even harder to pretend not to like someone that you do.

How do you describe what you are looking for and want? Tell the reader all about yourself and paint them a picture as to who you are, where you have been and where you want to go? Seems like allot like homework, lol. I believe there is a reason for everything. I have worked hard at my military career and raising my children. Now it's just me and my dog(Marley) What do I want? I want a best friend who loves to be outside doing whatever, mowing, gardening, on the beach, sitting in the swing, going for a walk, camping and the list could go on forever. I want to travel to places I've never been. Learn things I have never done(to golf). Eat food I have never tried, just so I can say I did. Just to live life to the fullest. To laugh until my stomach hurts and always have a smile on my face. A best friend to share all of this with and someone to be with, but a good teacher(with lots of patience if your going to teach me to golf) I think that sums it up pretty good.
