Don't mind going to a sports bar and having a couple but won't become a slush just like the atmospher sometimes to break up the everyday routine oh and a good cheeseburger helps. First let me say that I am a bit old fashioned, If a man doesn't have the courage to write me a message to say hi when he is interested and see if there is any connection then I don't view him as a person I'd be interested in. I'm not into people that can't take the bull by the horns so to speak. :-) I am normally attracted to someone who is out going but not prideful and self involved. I also like the person I'm dating to be in somewhat good shape(not perfect) and not be too thin. I need someone to hold onto...lol. I'm a bit like a sweet quiet storm that is nice to enjoy and is soothing to the soul. The kind that makes you want to cuddle up and just listen as it rumbles in the distance, And sometimes I'm bright, sudden, exciting and fun. The kind that gets your heart beating fast! That makes you want to dance and feel the sweet rain on your skin. I am a mixture of both the quiet, peaceful, serene, laid back part of the world but I also get charged, eager, passionate and ready for the excitement that the world has to offer. Why pick just one way to live. I'm here to learn and enjoy life along with learning from my mistakes, and I have made many mistakes in life and am humbled. I'm hoping that I can find someone who understands the true meaning of being humbled and can be thankful for all the blessings that are given to us to try again and again. I am not one of those who believes that I am always right, actually everyone has a rightness in their own logic but it comes down to finding the best way to accomplish things together with compromise on both sides. My relationship with God is also very important to me and I hope to find someone that may not be perfect but loves God and strives to be a better person everyday. I'm extremely honest and loyal and never falter in my promises to be true to the person I love. I was married for 17yrs and there is no drama or craziness between my ex and I. We are still friends and on good terms with each other. I am a very cuddly type of person and I love to give hugs and touches through out the day to the person I love. I am not object-oriented, materialistic or overly concerned with fashion and looks but I work hard to be able have adventures and I keep myself in pretty good shape. I'm not the kind you will find in a gym but I prefer to workout in the beautiful outdoors whether it's raining or not, bring it on. :-) I don't like to crowd others, and sometimes need space to myself but I also love get togethers with friends and family.I'm a phlebotomist who loves my work. I work with donors who are amazing and giving. I am blessed with a job that can help save peoples lives and it humbles me.I have three great children-18, 7 and 6, full of energy who like to do anything outside. We like to go camping, hiking and swimming. As long as it's outside they're up for it, even helping out doing yardwork.I also love to joke around so If I like you, you're in for it ;-)PS. I only want one man...One faithful, honest, hard working, good looking man in CLOSE proximity to me.....who takes care of himself...WHY is this so hard???? I am not interested in dating around or getting involved with alot of people at one time and I'm not interested in someone who is dating around trying to find them selves or who is just a player. I would enjoy making a friend here or there and sharing time with the right person. I am not interested in competing for your time with all the others. I am selfish that way...I can't help it. I am selective and just would like to meet a nice,simple, genuine, person who enjoys being happy and laughing who is honest and real. I am an honest, and faithful person, and I will accept nothing less than that in return. I am not a needy, clingy type of woman, and am certainly not looking for someone who wants that from me...OR who is that way themselves. I have no problem with love, affection or attention, but also enjoy my own space as well, as I think that you should to. I would love to meet someone who is genuine in their feelings and intentions, who is real, and is not looking to play games. I am old enough to know what I want, and will not settle for less. I am not looking for drama, liars, cheaters, or random sex. I just want to take the time to get to know someone , spend some time with them, hang out and have some fun, develop a friendship, go on a few dates and just see where it goes from there. I do have a 16 year old daughter and she is the biggest part of my life, so if that presents an issue with you, then it presents an issue for me. I have 4 dogs who are like my children. I also have a cat...if you do not like pets then we probably won't get along.I believe the cornerstone to ANY relationship worth having is friendship. In order to progress and to grow, you have to have someone with whom you can just enjoy their company, and nothing more! You have to be able to talk and to comminicate first and foremost. If you are ever going to get anywhere, you have to be able to just sit and hold a conversation with each other at the end of the day...if you can't, well then there really isn't much there to build on. I can be silly and adventurous or quiet and serious, depends on the time and place. I do not have to be entertained...I am quite happy hanging out at home with someone I care about, hanging out with a few friends, or going to a movie...going shopping, or something quite simple. It's really just the simple things in life that make me happy. I love going to the beach more than anything. I do not do the bar scene, it has never interested me much...and certainly does not at this point in my life. I don't really think that I will find what I am looking for there.If you are looking for the perfect woman to hang on your arm, please keep on looking. I am def. not the barbie type. I am most comfortable in jeans and flip flops or shorts and a t-shirt. I will never be one to wear heels and dresses, that's just so NOT me. I could honestly stand to lose a few pounds, and am currently working on improving that but am not going to take it to the extreme of not being able to enjoy life.
