Generally I would describe myself as a pretty laid-back personality. My favorite outfit still is and always will be a T-Shirt, board shorts and flip-flops. Of course you need appropriate weather conditions to go along with that - which sometimes poses a challenge living on the US east coast :-(. Besides from that I am a professional (single) father to two teenage sons. I pretty much run the show when it comes to our household (cooking, cleaning, managing teenage crowds, etc...). I guess that makes me somewhat 'independent'... Mmmmh what else?? I do speak two languages and have been raised in Europe. Traveled the world and met tons of interesting people. Right now I am running my own software business.So what am I looking for? Well - a well maintained, intelligent, fit, inspired female that finds life - as much as I do - more enjoyable when lived with the right partner. An open mind is much more important to me than anything else. With my busy schedule I don't have enough time for endless text messaging or hours on the phone - hopefully you will understand! If you are interested let's get together as quickly as possible and see what happens..... I would prefer a date at a bar which would allow either a quick exit or plenty of reasons to stay :-) Either way - I do love to meet new people no matter if we 'click' or not. I have a good idea of what I am not looking for in a significant other but no idea of exactly what I am looking for (that makes sense in my mind...lol).Fit / Healthy: Its hard to be fit at 40+, I live it and respect in others. I understand 40 years old isn't 20 and don't expect you to be. I am ok with a little extra but if your ***lbs. over weight I am not ok with that. Medically stable: If your drink heavily are popping pills just to make it through the day or psychologically unstable, forget it, not happening, been there done it twice, got the t shirt, divorce papers and scars. Smoking: I quit 12 years ago, can not and will not deal with being around it. About me: 5' 10", ***lbs., have my own house, truck, motorcycle and job, I work to live and not live to work, I will do anything for people I love, I keep my word if humanly possible, I have NEVER cheated on anyone, I'd really like to find someone who compliments my life style and I theirs. I have done 11 sprint distance triathlons but missed the last 2 years due to shoulder issues. I still try and work out regularly and would love someone who can keep up or even challenge me to keep up with them.I am happy with who and what I am, worked hard to get where I am physically and financially. (not rich or ripped)I have 4 children who are the most important people in my life, 25, 22, 10yr old daughters and 17yr old boy, joint custody of 10yr old, other 3 are on their own.I have time to date and will make time for someone I am serious about if you can't or won't I am not your man.This is dating and supposed to be fun.
