It's impossible to answer all the questions that people may have running through their heads when they first open up someone's profile, so I'll just tell you a little about who I am and you can judge for yourself.I'm in the military, for 12 years now and have served 2 tours in Iraq - I'm just your average liberal, environmentally-conscious (most of the time anyway), pro equal rights, anti religious establishment kind of guy. With that being said, I'm not anti-religion as a whole. I just strongly believe in a separation between church and state. I know we live in the Bible Belt, and I've honestly given the religion thing a fair shake in the past. It just doesn't work for me, sorry. However, I drink moderately, I don't use drugs, I've never cheated on anyone I've been in a relationship with, I'm not judgmental, and I'm a very honest person. I may not find the same reward in religion that many people do, but I do think it's a good moral guide for the most part. You know, aside from the whole slavery and stoning stuff. I guess it just boils down to this: I don't think you have to be a Christian or go sit in a church an hour a week in order to be a good person. So if that's a deal breaker for you and you really really really care solely about labels rather than actions, then I wish you the best.I think if you have a talent that can help the world around you in some way that you should put that talent to use for the betterment of others. That being said, the Army thinks that I'm apparently good at blowing things up. And they even pay me to do it. I'd call that a win-win. Will I stay in forever? Who knows....there are a lot of reasons to both stick with it or start off in a new direction. I have a very good job in the civilian world (though not the greatest hours for a great social life, hence the meetville account), and I'm very driven to succeed. I've been a full-time employee with this company for less than a year and have already earned 2 promotions, so it's paid off and I plan to stay with them and see what the future holds.I have strong feelings on a wide variety of subjects, and stand firm in my convictions. As fate would have it, I happened to be not only in the aisle that he came in, but was standing directly in front of the seat that was set aside just for him.- except mine. Why you may ask? Because when he stood in front of me with his hand out, I didn't oblige him. I never have agreed with the reasons we went into Iraq, even now after going there twice, and I knew good people that went there and didn't get to come back. That was my protest then and it would be today. I know that the list of people who get to shake the President's hand is relatively pretty short in the grand scheme of things....

I enjoy going out and having a good time (who doesn't?) I race vintage flattrack motorcycles as one of my biggest hobbies, building fast cars is another as well as flying in small planes. My favorite is hanging out with friends and family, grilling out, or just hanging out and enjoying life.I have a good job, and my own cars. I am finacially stable and don't need anyone to support me. Some people find it odd that I do not have cable or dish. I find it odd that people would rather sit at home on the couch watching people do things rather than going out and doing things themselves. I am not inside or home enough to justify wasting that money. If there is something to do outside, I'm doing it. There is one very special little lady in my life, she's been there for me through some pretty rough times, even though she's only two, she can tell when I need cheering up and is pretty good at doing it.I like all types of music, mood dependant on what's my favorite at that time. There is a saying my friend has, "If you can't get along with me, there is something wrong with you" This is true about myself and the people I associate with. Easy going, trustworthy people. If you have a hard time getting along, then thats your problem. I believe that too many people judge a book by it's cover rather than appriciating the content it has to offer inside.Looks might be priority to some, but in the end personality and attitude is what determines the true beauty of someone. What I am looking for in a companion. For them to be Honest, sincere, open, dedicated, outgoing, intelligent, witty, and able to take it and dish it out when people get ornery. Something that is condusive to conversation. Movies are enjoyable, but you can't exactly socialize in a theatre.
