About Me

I'm the youngest of seven kids (3 half-brothers and 3 half-sisters), and I'm only the second of my siblings to attend university. I always thought I would grow up and do something involving computers--I started doing computer programming/database work and graphic design when I was in middle school and still do some casual work in my spare time. Then I changed my mind and decided that I didn't want to grow up--I try to keep a healthy balance between being serious, driven, motivated and generally being one who seizes the day, and someone who still knows how to have fun, be silly and view the world and all it has to offer with awe and eagerness. I love practicing the martial arts, and I consider myself to be down-to-earth, lighthearted, open and confident. My sense of identity and competitive edge don't derive from holding myself to be better or higher than others--I compete with myself to become a better person. I enjoy sincerely connecting with others, not driving them way with overblown elitism and arrogance.
