Since I love to grill and cook it would be nice to have someone to sample my entree's, but even better someone to share the experience with. (I make the World's Best Homemade Sweet Rolls you will ever eat) I like to visit wineries, take weekend trips, go dancing, Sunday dinners at Arris Pizza, watch and go to football games (must be a Chiefs fan :) lol) of course, Cardinals baseball games, and Mizzou football. I enjoy watching golf but I'm not a "real" golfer, although I can hit the ball. LOL! I love to snuggle and watch a good movie or tv show and I really need someone to do that with. Hello....a bit about meMy children are now adults, one with a family of their own.I am spending more time doing things for me. I have started focusing on me and what makes me happy. I am learning more and more about myself everyday.......I will be 58 this year..... I don't consider myself as being 'old fashion' but I am very much a romantic and a moral women. I am very family oriented and look forward to getting to know your family. I love a confident and respectful man. I think a man that has accomplished his goals in life is a happier person, and shows strength.... but I am not impressed with your car, your house, your money, or your job. Those are YOUR things! I don't need them....I have my own things.People have become so cynical over the things that they have experienced in life that no one trusts anyone anymore. I as everyone else, has been through bad times....but I haven't allowed anyone to "break" my spirit or change what I believe relationships should be. As a woman I am a nurturer, a care giver. I love doing the small things for "my" man. I love to cook and bake for you, and sit at the table and have meals with you. I like to massage your back, listen to how your day went, and offer you that "soft" place where you don't have to do anything but relax. I will ask how your day went because I want to know. I want a man that is equally not afraid of taking care of "me"....his woman and do the small things for me, you know the things women hate to do like fall yard clean up, shopping for tires for my car, or getting the oil changed or just holding me when I need to be held. I am not afraid are you?If in your photos, you are holding something dead or wearing Camo...we probably won't be a good fit.....If you have money problems, ex wife issues or "problem" adult children... abuse alcohol or drugs, we won't be a match......I am getting much too old for drama! Speaking of old...I am 58 this year...not sure why it says 55 doesn't matter I look young and I feel young and I can't change my age on here or in real life, as we get older another birthday is a privilege!I know your out there.... Single mother of two daughters ***and 17), one still at home. Never married, busy lifestyle, recently started going back to the gym -- its more fun to have someone to go with. I love to go camping, swimming, dancing, drives in the country, trips to the coast, a day finding bargains at yard sales or thrift stores, movies are fun, and lots of other things. I miss living in the country, but I still raise chickens so that we can have farm fresh eggs -- my hens just reside out on the ranch at my mother's place. Music is a big part of my life...it relaxes me, it pumps me up, it is like air to me. I love to cook, I love trying new recipes, baking for family and friends. I am currently learning to cook a new healthier style of cooking for myself and my daughter. I am learning to cook the diabetic menu for myself -- and my daughter LOVES fish and seafood -- so I am exploring new ways to cook fish and seafood that will appeal to her. I like to find antique kitchen collectibles. Interesting collectibles are getting more difficult to find these days, but that just makes a new find so much more special and exciting.I've had the same job for almost 23 years; I am not rich, but I am not destitute either. Most of my bills are current and some are even beginning to pay off. Life is an adventure....I just want to invite someone along for the ride I want a man who loves kids, maybe has kids...and wants a family. I also want a man that wants to share a private life with a woman.... I'm an open book....ask me anything. Things I love: Jumping in mud puddles, pillow fights that end up making love, the smell of bread baking in the oven, intelligent conversation, Scrabble games (any word games really), smiles of pleasure when my kids bite into a warm chocolate chip cookie just out of the oven, hugs from a two-year-old that missed you while you were gone, the voice of my best girl friend over the phone when she calls from NYC, a baby's laugh, I love hearing "I love you mom", my memories of my father, daffodils in spring, daisies in summer, swimming on a hot day, watching the stars on a blanket in the yard at night....life's simple pleasures. Care to join me?.... Negatism is just so depressing. I am not a perfect woman...nor do I expect a perfect man. I just want someone who wants to be with me...and I with him. Please ...if you've gotten this far...at least say hello. Something simple....coffee and conversation, a walk in the park....never a movie..you can't see or talk to each other. A nice dinner, picnic in the park can come later .... if you want to spend more time with one another.
