Hello, just thought I would try this site after a friend told me how cool it was. I am 48, single and looking for someone to date and hopefully a whole lot more, I am,and have always been a bit skeptical of all dating sites but heard this was not like your typical dating site. Happy Fishing!!! :)UPDATE:After being on here for a year or so and having a few dates and many chats, I have discovered a couple of irritating things. First and foremost, there are a lot of BULLSHITTERS here, female and I am assuming male as well, so why are you wasting people's time? F-OFF!!!Bottom line, don't take this sh*t too serious and don't fret if someone is an A$$hole and treats you wrong, because there will be another A$$hole around the corner..LOLCHEERS and BEWARE!!!! when fishing. First dates are all about first impressions, which can be very misleading, and a little nerve racking, so the less pressure; the better. A good first date, I always thought , should be a date where both people can feel comfortable and just be themselves, like having a pleasant dinner at a casual restaurant where we can talk and get to know each other, and maybe even a few drinks afterwards to help ease any tensions. Taking in a movie or a show is also a great way to continue a date that is going well.I am also open to a simple meeting over coffee or tea, who knows where it will go from there.

I'm not interested in online serial daters that are only on here to massage there already bloated egos. Thank you! That and the fact that I enjoy having trees and lakes and rivers and there didn't seem to be as much of that out there. I guess it's all in what your use to. I like a wide range of music,although I don't like Rap. Some of these guys are good poets but I don't think this is music. Maybe something else. Somethings about me that might be considered to be unique are my artwork, and that I've been teaching myself piano for a few years.Better late than never, I'm actually pretty good, and maybe the fact that I really don't care what other people think. I'm honest, confident and I look young for may age. I'll end by saying that I'll be starting a business in the spring so two of my goals are to work on my own and to do more traveling. Anyway, if I think of anything else I'll add it, but realistically, if a personality could be fit into a couple of paragraphs we would know we've found the one after 30 seconds of reading, so none of this matters as much as the first couple of times we meet. So let's get to it! I added a few pictures of my work. I think the coffee thing works. That way we can both decide weather a first date is a good idea.
