Sometimes I'm "optimistic to the point of foolishness." I'm always eager to help when the need arises. I care dearly for my friends and family and will do anything for either! Having grown up with the likes of Freddy Krueger and Michael Myers, few things scare me, needles being one of those few things. I am a better listener than I am a talker and am often used as a sounding board. According to the Myers-Briggs Test, I am the Counselor Idealist (Introverted, Intuitive, Feeling, Judging; aka INFJ). I have a slight case of OCD. I tend to value mercy over justice. If I were a superhero, I would be an empath. Things that make me smile: Laughter of any sort, pictures, hugs, candy, cartoons, children (and especially babies), good books, fresh snow, Morning Glories, Gardenias, farm life, cats, dogs, creativity and imagination, snuggling under warm covers when it's really cold, afternoon naps, singing outloud regardless of who hears you . . . Things that make me sad: Growing up, people crying, lack of passion, time constraints, misused anger, insincerity, phones ringing, sickness, missed opportunities, insecurity, helplessness, lack of empathy, selfishness, greed, capitalism, faithlessness, splenda, bigotry, . . .
