I'm a very busy entrepreneur in the middle of building business around the world. I would like to find someone to share personal time with that could lead to something more. I'm not in a hurry to find this person now, but I would make the time to make him a priority. I am a foster mom for a local dog rescue group so have several dogs around the house most of the time. Being supportive of other women who have difficulty seeing their attributes and children needing greater love and support with not-so-good home environments is also very important to me. I have developed several businesses that help the small and mid-sized business executive, so professionally, that keeps me passionate about what I do when I'm not outside with my dogs. I enjoy golf, participating in triathlons and generally being outside when the weather is nice (or skiing, sitting in a hot tub or in front of a fire with a good glass of wine when it's cold/snowy outside). I love, love, love blues music so enjoy places where I can listen to some good blues or jazz music without being overwhelmed by a smokey environment. I love to travel and experience different cultures, landscapes and foods and have many places I'd love to visit and to revisit. I also love to cook, so if you don't love food, music, dogs & the outdoors, we're not a good match. Or are these interests about as universally accepted as breathing?! I'm looking for a professional man who is confident (but not arrogant or bullyish), is committed to his role as a man with a woman, and who is also kind, generous and loving. He must LOVE dogs and he must be comfortable with my role as a professional woman and business owner who loves to come home and just be a woman. I want a man who understands that being a gentleman is who he is, not just what he does - it's how he thinks and not just a series of acts. I am a modern business woman who may not be home until late or may be traveling, but will always have his favorite drink stocked and he will always be well fed. He must be able to accept this. For those of you golf guys out there, I enjoy playing myself, but not with one of those crazy guys who throws his golf clubs or gets irritated because you just hit one in the woods and now we have to go find it. I'm a double-bogey golfer on average and I describe my game as having moments of brilliance steeped in pathetic mediocrity. I've had my fair share of birdies and pars ***but I have usually one of those dreaded "snowman" scores each 9 to balance those out :-(. So, someone who doesn't mind when I out-drive him or hit it into the woods and will help me look for it :-) would be great. Otherwise, I'll be out running, swimming, biking or hiking with one or more of my dogs in the spring, summer & fall mixed in with an outdoor event or two here and there.Boating is also a love of mine. Being on or near the water with a view of the water is like heaven on earth to me. Put some blues music, some good food &I'm far from perfect and certainly don't expect the "perfect guy" either, but I do expect mutual respect and some room for each other to be imperfect. I have no interest in anyone who wants to put me in their box of judgments or expectations of who someone "should be". Life is way too short to be with negative people, energy suckers, judges and hypercritical people. If you are over the age of 42 or 43 and you've never been married (nor been in a 5+ year relationship with some of it officially living together), you're probably not my type. I just want to be with someone who can accept me with my "less than perfect" traits and my professional life, who appreciates me and with whom we can just enjoy each other the majority of the time.
