Changing up and learning how to roll is a good life lesson because no two days are ever alike. Stuff happens! Most of all, I have not lost my sense of wonder and adventure. There’s always a story rumbling in my head. I am a writer! Outside the box with many interests, but enjoy the simple things too. A robust cup of coffee, bold humor, rad conversation, pet lover, kid worshiper, all genres of the “arts,” broad taste in music, outdoor life, vintage architecture and preservationists, Industrial Boom post WWII, day trips, and dancing. Heads up, my artist husband of 36 years spoiled his wife and daughters with love and affection, not things and few could compare. My best friend. Matters of the heart define me! And we raised two dynamic young women who have made a big splash into the world traveling far beyond their backyard. No doubt, the breadth of our success has been the children we gifted to the world. Unknowingly, becoming parents deepened our gratitude, humility and humanity. Our legacy passed onto the next generation. I am complete. Quality of character ranks high, material wealth won’t impress. Behold your good fortune and be humble. Showiness is unattractive! News ticker: I am a Democrat and lean liberal, but I was born into a Republican family who are “cross the aisle” big picture-thinkers much like Mitt Romney, the late John McCain and other Republicans to whom I deeply respect.
