Looking for a woman that enjoys the simpler things in Life.Life to me is about learning new adventures and sharing the knowledge learned ....I like trying to keep a somewhat active lifestyle, soin the summer months it can include camping, kayaking ,and hiking or bike riding,swimming at the lake,also country drives to nowhere,even walking in the summer rain. Most activities I like to do are around the water.Just relaxing at home watching a funny movie or playing backgammon or other board games ,vegetable gardening , learning to cook and even dancing.I also enjoy woodworking , and home renovations. In the winter months I slow down a bit , and that can include cross country skiing , tobogganing and indoor swimming .I'd rather be outside doing anything when the weather is nice .I also enjoy going out to craft shows, county fairs, art shows, museums or just a relaxing, or just great conversation.I'm pet friendly, I have owned dogs most of my life, but I am without any dogs now.I'm self sufficient, I have my own life , just looking to share some time with someone else. I enjoy sitting out on a patio, just people watching.I love to be constantly experiencing new and different cultures and learning new things .I'm very open to trying just about anything .Some of my past hobbies have included downhill skiing,water skiing,scuba diving, boating .Very family oriented, and still talk or see them almost daily.I have a good quirky sense of humor . Well I'm back on the site to see what happens.Born on St. Pat's ...so you've got to love green. Actually I'm a simple guy who has been fortunate enough to have traveled a lot, experienced my fair share...and that has led me to do enough self reflection to understand who I am and who I'd like to be with. If you'd like to get to know me, then I hope to hear from you. My friends would describe me as extroverted, caring, always there to help, a decent cook, smart (actually they didn't say that :( ). I believe myself to be romantic and affectionate (the French side of me dominates the English side). I try to stay active by going to the gym or TKD ***times a week. Hi, I am looking for my best friend, lover and mate. Someone who doesn't sweat the small stuff, has a good outlook on life and sees the positve side of things. I like to travel so I hope you do also. I enjoy driving and visit somewhere different whenever I get the chance. Weekend getaways are fun also. I am shy at first and dread that first meeting but once thats out of the way I open up pretty good. I like to joke around and have fun. I enjoy seeing the woman i am with having a smile on her face. I have myself down as a few extra pounds which I have put on my gut since I quit smoking a couple of years ago. I am actively trying to remove those extra pounds. I exercise a few times a week at least. Most times more than a few. If I think you're Gods gift to man that's one thing. If you think you're Gods gift to man then don't bother me. The pictures are not two months old. I am very spontaneous and will go anywhere at the drop of a hat. I was driving back from a visit home recently. I was at a take-out and I saw a car pull in. Guy and girl. Girl gets out and comes in to order. Guy sits in car. Later that day I was at a grocery store. I see a woman putting groceries in back of SUV. As I walk by I notice guy sitting in drivers seat. I can't believe that this is the way things are now. Is that normal these days?? Not for me. Just saying. You shouldn't limit everything. If I don't reply, I don't think we are a match. No need to waste each others time.I am here and hope to find someone eventually, but I'm ok with things. When or if it happens good.
