I am looking forward to meeting a female companion that, first of all, I can call my "best friend" before anything else, and who, among other things, would enjoy sharing outdoor fun activities, as well as social functions, and, of course, last but not least, romance and love, as a couple. I believe that the simple things in life can give us the most pleasure. For example, a simple walk and talk holding hands can mean a lot. I may not be a world traveller, but I do enjoy going on road trips to different cities to shop or see the sites. I especially enjoy the outdoors, and love to ATV in summer and snowmobile in the winter because it gets me out exploring the beautiful country we have right here in our own back yard, and photographing it. When out ATVing one time in early Spring, I came across two abandoned 3 week old kittens on a railbed, that were freezing to death - brought them home, took them to the vet, nursed them back to health, and now they are healthy and playful brother and sister kittens. I never thought I would end up with two kittens, I was always a dog lover, but they are cute, fun to watch play together, and good company. I also like the finer things in life like theatre, fine dining, and attending various organized social events. Overall, I hope to find someone that is down to earth, healthy, and has a good personality so that we can compliment each other. I have been told that I don't look my age as you would see if you met me, and people have guessed my age to be in the forties, I consider myself an average looker, I am in good health (take no meds or pills), active, a non-smoker, social drinker if at all, never did drugs, and no tatoos. So, if you share some of my thoughts and think we may have some compatibility, I would be happy to hear from you! I love the outdoors and keeping in shape. A healthy livestyle is a big part of my life working as a volunteer firefighter but have recently retired from after 25 yrs service.. Which I found very rewarding.It's a big change in life but enjoyed it. The program I toke was enviromental technician field & lab. For we have have only earth and I have worked in this field on clean up end and hopefully when done this course I can maybe make a small difference in how we treat it. Though the jobs in this field have dwindled down, so I've gone back to welding something I known and have done.Enjoy a good movie with a glass of wine and sitting close and even snuggling and cuddling to belief or not.It's not for the ladies some of us guys like that too. One thing, have you ever been walking down the street and seen an 80 year old couple holdings hands, completely enthralled by the fact that after so many years together they still love each other fully and completely and wholeheartedly even when the poor guys teeth fall out at the dinner table and she has to help him put them back in...Well my teeth aren't falling out of my head, and I'm not quite an old man but I am looking for that special type of connection and not just another fling. I'm an easy going guy. Tried roller blading once and... well we'll leave it at that haha.But willing to do it again. Enjoy all types of music. Open and honest, and show respect. You get what you give. Don't be shy,stop by and say hello. Yes I have a few tattoos but they all have meaning to them.
