Hi! Thanks for taking time to stop by and read my profile. I am a busy mom with three children ages 10, 14, and 16. All of us enjoy being active especially when the weather turns nice. As a family we go to the gym together three times a week. We love hockey (even if we are southerners!) and make sure we attend a couple of Hurricane games each year. I teach at an elementary school and love it. I have been in education for over 16 years. I am a positive person who tries to find the good in most circumstances. I have been in too many relationships with pessimistic men, so NO GRUMPY PANTS need to apply. If it's a nice day I want to be outside doing something. I don't like to be cold EVER, so winter is my least favorite season. I enjoy being a mom and keeping busy with my kids but I would enjoy having someone to go out with occasionally. Even though I'm not a huge television wathcher, I don't mind chilling on the couch every now and then to watch a romantic comedy or some NCIS. I can dress up and be a girlie girl or be totally casual and hang out at the hockey rink. I am not a major exercise nut but I am striving to keep fit (if for no other reason, to just keep up with my kids)! I would like to be with someone who also likes to stay fit, healthy and active. I am a Christian and very grounded in my faith. I want to be with someone who feels just as blessed with what God has provided them as I do. If it sounds like we have similar interests, please don't hesitate to send me a note. I would like the first date to be at a semi-quiet cafe or restaurant so conversation with each other is not distracted. I think a lunch date would be great for starters; nothing too fancy, stressful, or complicated.

I'd like to say yes I am a package deal, but like all packages you won't know how valuable/beautiful it is unless you're willing to open it up and see what's inside. And even if you didn't know...it might just be the gift you've been looking and hoping for. : ) Keeping it real however, I try not to think I am that special. Once I think I am one in a million, I have to realize that there are six thousand people out there just like me. ; )I love music, fresh salty air and occasionally the cold kind too. I'm a realist, grounded and secure - I don't walk around aimlessly with my head up in the clouds, nor am I pretentious. I run, I hike, I SUP...all serve to keep me healthy/fit. I don't embellish about my age, height, weight or my social status. My pics are all current, I would hope yours are too.I'm not desperately casting about the internet looking for someone to complete me or make me happy (I already am)... stroke my ego, take me places or buy me things. Nonetheless, I must confess... it does get a little quiet sometimes... it'd be pretty great to find someone cool to spend time with... intelligent conversation... exploring... going to new places... or going nowhere... laughing like insane people... you know... good stuff. : ) What am I looking for? We typically know it when we see it, but I imagine it to be someone who is mentally/emotionally/physically fit like me; easy going and can see the funny in life like me; and is ready, willing, available in every way. Of course nothing happens without the component that really connects us: mutual attraction and great chemistry. Beyond physical attraction, I find a great sense of humor very sexy. So while looks will get my attention...personality, intelligence and humor hold it! I'm not looking for perfect, just the perfect fit for me. I guess ultimately my wish is to find that true connection with someone and never have to sign up for another dating site again. =) Meet and greet, then take things from there..no pressure..no expectations.

For starters, I was told I'm rude for not replying, even if I'm not interested. Would it be better to reply even if I'm not interested?Just a down to earth girl wondering if Mr. Right exists.
