Hi! Thanks for taking time to stop by and read my profile. I am a busy mom with three children ages 10, 14, and 16. All of us enjoy being active especially when the weather turns nice. As a family we go to the gym together three times a week. We love hockey (even if we are southerners!) and make sure we attend a couple of Hurricane games each year. I teach at an elementary school and love it. I have been in education for over 16 years. I am a positive person who tries to find the good in most circumstances. I have been in too many relationships with pessimistic men, so NO GRUMPY PANTS need to apply. If it's a nice day I want to be outside doing something. I don't like to be cold EVER, so winter is my least favorite season. I enjoy being a mom and keeping busy with my kids but I would enjoy having someone to go out with occasionally. Even though I'm not a huge television wathcher, I don't mind chilling on the couch every now and then to watch a romantic comedy or some NCIS. I can dress up and be a girlie girl or be totally casual and hang out at the hockey rink. I am not a major exercise nut but I am striving to keep fit (if for no other reason, to just keep up with my kids)! I would like to be with someone who also likes to stay fit, healthy and active. I am a Christian and very grounded in my faith. I want to be with someone who feels just as blessed with what God has provided them as I do. Well, time for a re-write(Dec 27, ***, here goes … Friends have described me as being compassionate, intelligent and funny (in my own unique way)! I also can't forget the word, curious. I like to ask questions and lots of them. Like most people I am multifaceted and different people bring out different aspects of my personality. I’m looking for someone with a positive energy … negativity is no fun. I believe that I'm articulate (although writing this is pretty challenging) and easy to get along with. I will share, that I recently lost my boyfriend of four years unexpectedly and so I am admittedly grieving, losing such a wonderful man. So why are you on here you ask? "Hope" and because there is no "correct" way to grieve, according to the Mourner's Bill of Rights. Another relevant comment is that as much as I enjoy spending time with others, I also like my alone time. I am telling you this because my first commitment is to myself and my semi-adult boys. With these in balance, I can “be with you” , when I’m with you. Children are my passion and have been the focus of my career thus far. I love kids from both a career and a personal perspective. Education is important to me. I am most compatible with like- minded professionals . PS I'm not interested in long distance relationships.
