About Me

I love hiking in the mountains in the early morning. Camping by the beach is a great way to spend a weekend. Hanging out with my friends playing games and having some drinks is something else I really love to do. The simple things of life bring me the most pleasure. I admire loyalty and honesty in those I surround myself with and these two qualities are non-negotiable when choosing people I want to spend time with. Building and maintaining supportive relationships with friends and family keep me grounded and have helped me learn how to be a friend through thick and thin. When football Sunday comes around I am the loudest in the room and will not miss a Seahawks game thanks to DirectTV's football package. Most importantly I am an animal lover and believe in animal rescue. I had a 17-year-old pit bull that I rescued. He pasted away in November. Fitness and health are two priorities in my life. I enjoy a long run and working out at the gym. I believe in working hard and that experience is just as valuable as education. I've seen in my own life that “putting your nose to the grind stone” will reap financial benefits and secure unshakable self-esteem. I must be matched with someone who feels the same. Enough about me, I am really just looking for a guy who is down to earth and loves life. A sense of humor is a big plus with me. I believe that a good laugh can cover a multitude of life’s crazy curve balls. Speaking of balls, I would love to spend my time with a guy who thinks watching sports are great way to spend a spring or fall day. Someone who also enjoys a good work out and staying fit.     I need to be able to refill my depleted reserves. I enjoy any activity around the water. Even my favorite vacation is cruising. Just give me my Kindle, iPod, some sun and water and I am good to go. IT was my goal this summer to have a killer tan and i succeeded!!! I may not be great at fishing but I have no problem relaxing quietly while some one else enjoys the sport. If I knew how to dance I might enjoy music more, but I do like listening to live bands. I enjoy having someone to share my life and expose me to new things. I recently got custody of my 17 year old godson and am a parent for the first time in my life. He's showing me a more active lifestyle. No longer the quiet book worm I tried to be. Its been fun, but no teenager wants to hang around with a parent all the time, right? I would like to find a partner in life. Someone to share my experiences with, good and bad. I don't need someone to fix things or try to make it all better. I am way too independent to go for that. I want someone to bounce ideas off of and tell me when I could be making a better choice, but not force me into it.I like to try new and different things. I actually got my para-plane license when I was younger. I love to fly! The feeling of being up in the air with nothing coming at you... incredible. My favorite movie is Titanic, for the history of it all, not the romance. I have been a Titanic buff since a kid. I have books and artifacts that I treasure. Then again I like history period. My favorite memories as a kid involve traveling around the country seeing battlefields, museums, historic monuments.
