Here's a little about me. I'm a somewhat outgoing person who enjoys good conversation about a variety of topics. I can be serious at times, but I usually prefer to keep things light-hearted. So no one usually mistakes me for a Pollyana. I've got way too much chutzpah, and my quick wit and sarcasm are often apparent. So a match who's like-minded is a huge bonus in that regard. As a general rule, I try very much to conduct myself with pride and class as these traits are important to me and my family. I was raised by a teacher, and as a teacher myself, I try to be a role model for my students. But it's really like a lifestyle...it's simply the way I live my life.Regarding my match: I'm looking for an intelligent and intellectually curious, confident and financially secure professional guy who is compatible with me in a large number of areas. Someone who will understand and appreciate my little bit of independence, but is there when I need him. I'd love to meet someone who enjoys home improvement projects as I enjoy making improvements in my home. If I could find someone who enjoys biking on some of the railtrails in the area, that would be much appreciated.I'm fairly traditional, and I usually prefer to be pursued, rather than be the pursuer. But I've had my moments. For those of you familiar with the Myers- I also have a fairly strong moral compass, and since I'm a teacher you won't find me partaking in anything that might get me arrested! But I don't think that makes me dull either. With regard to religion, I was raised Methodist for the most part (we attended an Episcopal church for a few years too).
