Starting over again. I would like to say I'm ready for a long term again but I'm not-yet. I will be at some point because I don't want casual so if you've got patience...... I'm quiet and reserved at first, so I've been told. I want to learn to dance and go out but wouldn't do the bar scene by myself. I like old fashioned and gentlemanly manners, hand on the small of my back as you open doors for me, holding hands as we walk, actually listen to me, compassion that shows and a ready smile. I'm witty when it suits the situation and serious when it calls for it and would like the same in you. I enjoy being outside the most, camping or hiking, riding my Harley or horses, or just sitting watching the wind blow. Recently learned to bait cast so I'd like to polish up on my fishing. Most often my hands are dirty from digging in the yard or cleaning my bike- no fake fingernails or polish here, a few gray hairs I don't ever color cause I've earned every one. So if you're looking for a real foo foo girly girl I'm not it, keep searching.(But I do clean up pretty well too) I know how to change my own flat tire, pump my own gas, use power tools that, by the way are NOT pink, and my own plumbing. I'm a great mom, I do all the old fashioned womanly arts of sewing, cooking, cleaning, etc. Not looking for a father figure or another kid to raise. I need someone I can hold a conversation with on just about anything or sit quietly with. I enjoy most types of music. Although head banger music tends to make me want to bang my head. Rap is probably out of the question too, now that I think about it. When I like a song, I'll turn it way up and sing off key while I cook. When I like a song, I'll turn it just right, hold you close and sing softly in your ear. A first date could be anything. An impromptu picnic in a park to people watch. The good old standby- dinner or an early lunch in case we don't hit it off lolSome light hearted conversation over a double dip ice cream at Braum's. Live music, a local flea market & street tacos.     Hmmm.....Seriously...don't like to talk about my self...     This is very new to me. I am just looking to meet someone, become friends and then see what happens from there. I miss the beach but am glad to be home. I have not really met alot of people since I've been back. I love to cook. I also enjoy anything to do with water. Whether it's a day at the beach, lake or pool or even a nice bubble bath! I would like to find someone that shares similar interests and would definitely want to be friends first...After being on and off of here a while, I feel the need to update this a little. I was really skeptical of this site in the beginning. Being new to the area, it helped me meet alot of people. Some really great (that just ended up not being a match for one reason or another) and some not so great. In the beginning most of the men seemed to be younger that messaged me. Most of which were only interested in one thing. I blamed it on the age. Since then, I have come to realize, age has nothing to do with it! Most of the men that I've met or even just talked to are all the same, regardless of age. I guess my point to this update is to ask that if you message me, please just be honest about your intentions, whatever they may be...*UPDATE*Meeting new people has been alot fun. And I've actually made several good friends in the process. But I am ready for a serious long term relationship. I'm not expecting it to happen overnight and I do not want to rush in to anything. But that is ultimately what I am looking for, so if that is not your intention, we would just be wasting each other's time...

    I want to reconnect to life outside of work and family. I miss having adult conversation and that feeling of knowing there is someone out there thinking about and missing me.
