Just be HONEST and genuine, and please be serious about wanting to find someone, because I am. Having a good sense of humor doesn't hurt either ;).I'm looking for a guy that will make me feel like I'm important to them. I want someone to make me laugh and take initiative! Having similar interests is very important, so when I start going on about RPGs, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, etc they don't get glassy eyes and check out like a lot of my friends, haha! I love geek culture so getting to know each other on that level and having little inside jokes about stuff is fun! As I said up above, be honest, genuine, be yourself! Coffee places are the best. You can usually find a secluded place to get comfortable, sip on a yummy drink and talk. I like to drink wine, but bars are not a good place to meet up, too noisy. If the weather is nice, the lake is nice too.

I'm lured by subjects and people that sit somewhat on the edge of convention, people who aren't afraid to debate an issue on one hand while also being able to switch off and simply be. I can move with ease from being sassy and irreverent to being elegant and articulate.My playground has both swings and roundabouts, from late nights and good music (predominantly rock and some blues through soul, Motown and electronica l to perhaps prokofiev's dance of the knights -- but come around in time. Any Joe Strummer-ish (and, yes, i know joe's dead) types out there? (i'm just using joe to try and get across an idea of one perspective) not in looks as such nor in music but in attitude, who have grown in 'years' but remain 'tuned' in, to ideals, to thought, to literature, to the bigger picture yet can tune out and let the white noise descend. who simply just want to: meet someone they can have a laugh with, play air guitar, take a trolley ride, sing out loud in the car.....one last thing - I understand that, for various reasons, some people may not have a public profile pic...but it's only fair to send one if you do message me. You only live once....but if you do it right. Once is enough!…. Yes, that is the Lonestar State and yes…..I can two step and shoot a gun (doesn’t everyone….LOL). When I am not working, I am spending time with my children or hanging out with friends. The philosophy of work hard ….play hard would be an accurate description. I look forward to my time off. I will admit, I am not typically a home body. I like to “go and do”. I am very social and love people. A perfect weekend could include grabbing a bite to eat…….(It could be a local dive or an up & coming hot spot……either would do just fine), maybe catching a movie, playing a game of pool (I am not a pool shark……but not quite a guppy either..HA.), going to a winery, car show, bike adventure, festival, boating, ....or it could include doing almost nothing at all…..just cuddling up on the sofa with a good book or a movie and enjoying some downtime.I'd like to spend my time with someone who likes to have fun, embraces the moment, is curious, not afraid to try new things and makes me smile and laugh. Let’s go for a ride or find the perfect place for a picnic. How about driving to the lake or a local event? Let’s go find something fun to do………….I like to try new things and would enjoy having a partner in crime for the adventures.I am looking for a serious relationship…….but realize it takes time, patience and sometimes a great capacity for laughter. I am not looking to change you nor do I want someone to change me. I seek to better myself and learn from life but I am secure in who I am.
