Looking for friendship with potential for a long-term relationship. I'm ready to love and be loved. I'm pretty low maintenance but I like someone that will take the time to let me know they're thinking of me...whether it's a text, note or phone call. I’ve got a pretty silly sense of humor, sometimes crass but am ladylike when needed. I like to write poetry, song parodies and create sassy greeting cards. One of my favorite TV shows is Arrested Development…that’ll give you a glimpse of my quirky personality.My friends say I'm crazy....this is the good kind of crazy...fun...make you pee your pants laughing crazy...not crazy crazy. That being said, I'm serious when I need to be.I’m sassy, serious, sweet, romantic, bossy, sentimental, passionate and sometimes crabby. When I’m serious…I’m super-serious : ) I love to spend time with my family and friends. I’ve got 2 children and lots of pets! Country and 80’s music are my favorites but I enjoy all types (except for rap). I love scary movies and haunted houses. Autumn is my favorite season...love the sweatshirt snuggling weather. Corn mazes are pretty fun :)Summer is my least favorite season...but I do like hanging by the campfire when it's chilly out. I've been separated since Dec '11 with hopes of my divorce being final by Jan '14. Last December I lost my PT, in-home office job and reignited my FT employment search once my son was in school FT. My background is in business but I also teach art classes and am employable in the spa industry. I'll need someone who's understanding of my frugality as I pursue a career that I both love and that will allow me to support my family. *******NOW FOR THE PART THAT WILL POSSIBLY TICK SOME OF YOU OFF...I'm allergic to cigarette smoke so a nonsmoker is preferred.     This is where I try to be funny, but I'm the only one laughing, and those of you that are, are the true geeks, so welcome! I am 41, and yes these photos are recent- I'm told I look 30, but that being said, I really am 41, and also want to date 40 and above. I take fairly good care of my body (see exhibit B) if you do not take care of yours on a similar level, I'm probably not interested. Don't need a sugar daddy, been taking care of myself and two boys for a long time, however I'm not interested in sponsoring struggling musicians (cute as you are). I am a muralist, fine artist, designer, teacher, and I'm going back to school to get my Masters, so I'm a pretty busy cookie, but really would like to meet someone special to grow old with. (nostalgic music playing) I'm not materialistic or very high maintenance, unless you know how to fix bikes. Re-read my age requirements, that goes for grandpa Joe too! I am a teacher so PLEASE use the spell-check feature built into this program (the red dashed underline means you are misspelling a word!!!!!!!) Seriously? On the other hand, if you are witty or a smart ass, please inquire within! The best first date I ever had was a 2 hour hike followed by a shooting range (which I had never done before, and was very uncomfortable with), then beer tasting at a brewery, and then dinner at a 5* restaurant. Though we didn't work out because of our age difference, that still goes down in history as one of the best dates ever....can you beat it?
