I prefer to "meet in person" than chat or talk on the phone. I feel meeting in person is the "real" way to get to know someone. Everyone should let each other do whatever it is that makes them happy as long as you are not doing anything that interferes with the happiness of the other person. When one person tries to possess and control the other it essentially strips them of their independence and freedom. You can both be together and enjoy your space as well.
