I am a full fledged urbanite but I prefer the forest, the ocean, wooden homes, stained glass and potlucks with friends. I like to sleep in tents, ride my bike, be in & on the water, say yes to things that scare me, air guitar like no one's looking & read the New Yorker (not necessarily all at the same time). I eat Szechuan & I have a 7-year-old god-daughter. Your mom will like me. I have a career that’s unique, demanding & totally fulfilling.; volunteered with orphans in Romania (where I was also bitten by a feral dog). I’m addicted to TV (I don’t mean the educational shows) & therefore don’t own one. I’m not however, addicted to anything else & would prefer you aren’t either. I’m always looking for ways to grow & learn & so am usually enrolled in a class, some kind of training, personal development work, etc. You being well-educated, versatile & adventurous would be likely. You can count on me to be engaging, funny and to keep you on your toes. I’m very perceptive but I’m no mind reader so it’s important that you be someone who communicates honestly, clearly & often. I’m seeking a guy who is willing to own his humanity (the good, the bad & the ugly) & who wants to grow & learn throughout his lifetime. My Cancerian shell can be a bit soft at times, at other times I can be a bit too sharp & so I want to be with a man who is compassionate, bold & committed. If he is, he will get it all back in spades. I’d love a man who is tight with his family & is open to starting one of his own (with me that is) &/or sharing what he’s got.     I'll admit to a few things - I can eat chicken any time of the day or night. I have three toothbrushes on the go right now and I don't know how that happened. I've worn different coloured boots to work and didn't notice for hours.
