I’m looking for a person—and a relationship—of substance, honesty, and loads of passion. I’m looking for someone with whom I can laugh, goof around, spoil and share secrets with. I want to be with someone who enjoys all the little nothings that life has to offer...in the end they usually mean more than all the somethings. :) I have 2 amazing boys, 12 and 9 that keep me on my toes and young at heart. I love good food, sampling great wine, and watching corny movies. A night out on a patio with friends and family is probably one of my favorite sunny Saturday past times. I try to play golf, my 12 year old beats me... I try to talk hockey...my 9 year old laughs at me. lol. I have a good life, i'm now looking to make it great!

I'm old-fashioned. I'm used to guys asking the girls out. Not that I've never done the reverse...just more comfortable like that. I'm just looking for a guy to hang out with and have some fun with (same as everyone else). Stimulating conversations. Laughter is important, so we have to have the same sense of humour and of course there does have to be some kind of spark to take it beyond friends, but making more friends is never a bad thing, so let's meet and see what happens! I have a bit of a zoo. I have 2 dogs (the Border Collie and the Chihuahua/Yorkie) &..so an animal lover is a REAL bonus. Lol! I enjoy running or walking with the dogs every day, hanging with friends, a good glass of wine, or a beer. I like cooking and dinner parties in or out in a restaurant. I think everyone enjoys movies and listening to music. I like all music, but classic rock is probably my favourite. Not a big country fan. I like painting and photography, and would like to do more travelling (did quite a bit when I was younger). Not looking to *** someone forever...aren't these sites to MEET people? Hoping to find someone with a few similar interests. Also, FYI, I rarely check that favourites thing, so if that is your way of showing me you're interested you probably won't hear back from me. I like to keep first meetings quite short and sweet...they are basically blind dates off of the web after all. A drink or two to see if we click, see if we have anything in common, and then take it from there A first "real" date...hmmmm...up for anything...but a date means to "go out". A movie on your couch or a soak in your hot tub is not my idea of a first date. Lol!

Hi!I have a great career that is chugging along nicely, one that I enjoy and I appreciate the life it affords me. Like many others here, I have great friends and family (I swear, mine are better ;-) that I take the time to enjoy as much as I can. My appreciation of the arts, music and culture is vast and I love to enjoy them all locally as much as possible...my music taste leans on the Indie side and between friends, I have been known as the mixed playlist girl. So if we date and it doesn't work out, you will likely get a killer "mixed tape" out of the deal! I can be serious when appropriate, but friends who know me would say I am playful, light hearted and look for humour in daily life. I have been called a foodie (I could be called worse) and I enjoy experimenting with food and wine both in our fantastic city at large and at home in my kitchen. I love to cook but it is always more fun with a sous chef at my side and a glass of wine in my hand. I have traveled quite extensively which has only proven to me that there is so much more to see and experience.... I am in my happy place when exploring hidden gems of the world.) I enjoy being outside on the ocean, on the mountains or in the city. I love to snowboard and "surf"..see foodie reference above) to cuddled up to watch a good movie or an episode of the Walking Dead, Breaking Bad, Shameless or The Newsroom. My "fit" would be a man with a little edge- and by that i do not mean face-tattoo-edge - I mean witty and would feel comfortable at an indie concert or a wine tasting, and someone with varied life experiences.I am independent and self sufficient but I would like to meet that one man I can consider a partner in the true sense of the word - to take care of each other when one needs care, to share in life's realities, humour, dreams, hardships, and successes. Let me know if you think we might be a good fit. Something casual... Coffee shop or a beer on a patio... let's not make it over complicated, let's just meet and see where it goes from there. I think you can get a pretty good sense if you have a connection or not in a short period of time, so I like to keep the first meeting casual and then ....
