I work a lot and live in a small town so I thought I would try this and broaden my horizons. I love the water, am scuba certified, love to snorkel. I'm looking for someone to have some fun with, go snowboarding, ride motorcycles, get a drink, go to a sporting event, or try something new. I'm not looking for a serious relationship but I'm not opposed to it if we get along and see where things go. Anything but coffee or a movie. Bonus points for originality and fun factor but getting a drink and saying hello works for me for the first meet up, see if we even want to hang out for a decent amount of time. Lol.

I've been told that I don't smile a lot. Maybe I just haven't found the right someone who is able to do it for me. I'm looking for someone who can share my interests but who also has his own. This someone needs to have a great sense of humor to make me smile and laugh, as well as be able to handle my own dry sense of humor, sarcasm and tendency to inappropriately laugh at others' misfortune...that didn't go as planned. I'm still scouting around for a job in the communication field, while still trying to make ends meet. I don't have plans on moving back to PA because honestly, I don't want to be a third wheel, baby-sitter or buffer zone. I still call it "home" and respect my roots. I still go back to visit every few months to see family and friends, but it's become a place that's "nice to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there."I work full-time in manufacturing, but I'm also a freelance writer. The factory work pays the bills, while the writing puts my head and heart at ease. Outside of work, I workout a lot. I've lost 89 pounds in a little less than a year. I've gotten to the point where I love to workout and have to do it each day, otherwise I get antsy and just generally don't feel right. Sometimes, you just need to spend time on yourself, but if I could find someone who wants to do something with me, I'd make time for him. I care about my family and my true friends are my family. I make time for them because I want to. I want to make time for someone else.I broke up my last relationship last November because I simply couldn't do it anymore. It just wasn't what I wanted. We were a lot alike, but still wanting and needing different things. He's still a great friend, but he's not my best friend. I want to find my best friend to share life with... First dates are usually really weird for me. It's always awkward by some means as you get to know a person, regardless of how much of a whack-a-doodle you initially believe a person to be...then find out that he/she indeed is.I have no certain expectations for first dates except for someone to talk so I don't do all of the talking or be stuck staring at a guy in silence, shuffling my food around on my plate, while he fidgets with his phone.I actually don't like steak, lobster, or roses. I find the food more over-hyped than the series finale of Seinfeld. The flowers simply creep me out after a couple stalker experiences I've had.

I\'m romantic; love walks on the beach, love attending concerts, symphony, movies, drives up the coast. My partner should be confident, but never arrogant or pompous, must be is honest, considerate, generous.
