HONEST REALITY CHECK: I am here hoping for a relationship of substance. I DO NOT need a friend with benefits. I DO NOT need a one night stand. I DO NOT need someone who plays ridiculous games. However, don't get me wrong, it is always fun to be a lady and hit the town in some 5" heels. Unfortunately, I have been in school for most of my life, and finally where I want to be. I have lots of awesome jobs. From owning a couple businesses to teaching at the college level. I like to keep busy and loathe boredom. But, that doesn't mean I won't make time for the right person. I take life serious when necessary and not more than that. I am very easy going and have fun no matter what I do or who I'm with. This is a major drama free zone. I don't have the time or patience for that junk. Really. Don't bring it my way. As a side note, education and/or accomplishment (i.e.-military) is very important to me. It shows that you have worked for something that wasn't just given to you. In addition, honesty is the best policy. You never want to get caught with your pants on fire and this does happen all the time. We are not in the 3rd grade anymore. No reason to hide or lie about ANYTHING. I don't lie. I can't keep them straight down the road. So, I just avoid doing it. I am an open book and would like my other half to be the same.So shoot me an ***'re really interested in finding out more. And nothing boring....like "how are you?" or sending me your number right off the bat. That is just creepy. In addition, if you don't have any photos. I will not even consider talking to you.     I consider myself to be a very positive and happy person. I enjoy and appreciate the simple things in life, and hope to bring that out in others. I smile easily and love to laugh. I am a bit old-fashioned with certain aspects of a relationship, and appreciate the efforts that show genuine interest/care/chivalry (without over doing it!). With that said, I love contributing to a relationship the same way and enjoy making my partner feel special/appreciated/loved.By no means do I live in the dream world where everything is/needs to be perfect (Frankly, that would be boring). However, I admire a man that is willing to put forth the efforts to compensate the areas that need "refining," and can, without reservation be open and honest with his intentions. It goes without saying that my daughter (5 years old) is my #1 priority. I understand that many single men may have reservations about dating a lady with a child - I can assure you that my role as a mom and sharing responsibility of her with my ex is healthy, drama free, and something that I am proud of. Everyone is entitled to their personal preferences - especially when it comes to children. But, it is certainly important to me to find someone that is comfortable and confident with that part of my life. It would be great to meet someone who not only has similar interests, but can expand my interests with introducing me to new things. Good conversation and wit compliment a great guy as well!I adore compassion - while at the same time, can't wait to meet someone that keeps me on my toes in all the fun ways good relationships lend to a couple. Keep it casual! Be yourself - nothing worse than someone who is trying TOO hard! To me, good communication, fun atmosphere, and a genuine interest to get to know someone will take care of everything else.
