Let's see............... I guess I should start with what I DON'T want!! Please no smokers. Also, I won't get on your motorcycle with you, so if you want a riding partner, then I'm not the one for you. And last thing (yay!) I was divorced about 8 years ago and my ex died suddenly soon after that, so I needed to be focused on raising my children. Now my kids are "grown" and starting to live their own lives, so I'm hoping to start a new chapter in mine! I try to go for a walk or do yoga most days. I enjoy going to see movies (anything except scary), reading, playing board games, and going for a drink on the water or to hear a band. I'm happy staying in and watching some TV, but it is also fun to go hang out with friends sometimes too. Maybe for a game of pool/darts, bowling, or just have some food, drinks and conversation! I like hockey(Bruins) and football (go Patriots! )...... to watch, not play! I really,really love to get a nice meal (I love to try new foods!), a glass or two of wine, and talk. So it's very important that you and I have a lot to say to each other. I want to find that "connection" that only comes from part chemistry, and part honest conversation. Most importantly..... I want someone that is self-confident and realizes that if I am busy with work or the kids, and can not go out during the week, that it is NOT a reflection of my feelings for you- I am simply busy; someone that is assertive, but not controlling, has his own friends and interests (PLEASE have a life outside of me! It makes for a happier relationship!); doesn't mind when I wear sweats and no makeup (don't worry- this isn't a daily occurrence); someone that doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to laugh! I feel like everyone says they love to be out in the sun. I actually don't hang out at the beach during the day. Not a fan of skin cancer. I love to go to the beach at dusk or after dinner, but no baking for me! Sorry........If you are interested in meeting for a drink or dinner, please send me a note. First and foremost, I love to laugh. I have a sense of humor and very much enjoy people who do as well, or at least know how to laugh at themselves and life in general, otherwise it would all be overwhelming at times. I can take care of myself, but would enjoy sharing lots of my life with someone who got me. I am easy going and fun loving and enjoy meeting people, I work hard, and love my job, but I enjoy playing even more. While I love to be outdoors, especially near or in water, I am not a health/exercise nut, maybe someday, but not today. I love watching movies, reading a good book, which is often my escape from reality, going out, dancing, and getting together with friends old and new, playing games and just enjoying the company of others.I'd love to meet a guy that is secure in who he is, "know thyself" and not looking for a mother, but ***, a friend, a lover, a partner, to not just spend time with but who enhances the time spent together; a person that knows what they want, has goals, not a project himself, nor do I want be someone else's project to be changed, I'd rather grow together. A first date in my opinion, needs to have enough space to be able to actually talk and get to know each other, while at the same time doing something that can enhance conversation without hindering it. Maybe going for a picnic at a great place, or an evening that included a meal or a quaint pub where you could still talk without the music being overpowering.
