Let's see............... I guess I should start with what I DON'T want!! Please no smokers. Also, I won't get on your motorcycle with you, so if you want a riding partner, then I'm not the one for you. And last thing (yay!) I like to have a few drinks, but don't want to be with someone that's a very heavy drinker. Ok..... enough about what I don't want! I was divorced about 8 years ago and my ex died suddenly soon after that, so I needed to be focused on raising my children. Now my kids are "grown" and starting to live their own lives, so I'm hoping to start a new chapter in mine! I try to go for a walk or do yoga most days. I enjoy going to see movies (anything except scary), reading, playing board games, and going for a drink on the water or to hear a band. I'm happy staying in and watching some TV, but it is also fun to go hang out with friends sometimes too. Maybe for a game of pool/darts, bowling, or just have some food, drinks and conversation! I like hockey(Bruins) and football (go Patriots! )...... to watch, not play! I really,really love to get a nice meal (I love to try new foods!), a glass or two of wine, and talk. So it's very important that you and I have a lot to say to each other. I want to find that "connection" that only comes from part chemistry, and part honest conversation. Most importantly..... I want someone that is self-confident and realizes that if I am busy with work or the kids, and can not go out during the week, that it is NOT a reflection of my feelings for you- I am simply busy; someone that is assertive, but not controlling, has his own friends and interests (PLEASE have a life outside of me! It makes for a happier relationship!); doesn't mind when I wear sweats and no makeup (don't worry- this isn't a daily occurrence); someone that doesn't take himself too seriously and likes to laugh! I feel like everyone says they love to be out in the sun. I actually don't hang out at the beach during the day. Not a fan of skin cancer. I love to go to the beach at dusk or after dinner, but no baking for me! Sorry........If you are interested in meeting for a drink or dinner, please send me a note.
