What up?! (How else are you supposed to start this off?)5 facts about me:- I was raised in theatre and love it, though I haven't done any acting in 7 years - which has been a really nice break. Actors can be so annoying . . .-; however, we were recently defunded so I'm currently unemployed.- I've memorized the countries and capitals of the world. Yeah, I know - weird, not to mention completely useless. Keepin the ol' memory sharp.- I LOVE to read - everything from modern to classics - and I've read some big ones too. (Like War and Peace, Les Mis, and Don Quixote)- I'm a Christian and pretty serious about it. Doesn't mean I still don't swear like a sailor at times . . .Movies: all of 'em; from action to comedy to foreign, I enjoy most everything that is well done with a good story. (I'd much rather watch Die Hard than The Notebook; just for the record.TV: I love all kinds of shows from Mad Men to Breaking Bad to Arrested Development, and a lot in between. (There's so much good TV on these days!) I also love BBC shows like Sherlock, MI-5 and Masterpiece mini-series.Music: love pretty much all types of music except for modern country, with a special penchant for the blues and all derivations thereof. Love me some classic rock. Not very into many current bands, but I do like the Black Keys, most anything Jack White does, Cee-Lo, etc. LOVE Josh Homme (the Ginger Elvis) and all of his projects, particularly Queens of the Stone Age. Food: love ALL food and I really enjoy trying new restaurants/bars/cuisines. The ideal first date would just be chill - a time for us to get to know each other. So drinks in a fairly quiet bar, maybe with a view and some people-watching opportunities. If it's going well, we'd be able to walk to some other activity nearby - whether live music/karaoke, bowling, whatever.
