I have after some advice decided to re-write my profile...I am going to put myself out there with the hopes it will allow for a good match.My re-write:I am an intelligent, independent woman who is looking for that special someone to compliment me and my life, he will not complicate it he will hopefully complete it. I received my Master's Degree in Communication, my Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. I am currently employed as a Analytics Consultant and have worked for the same company for the last 17 years. I am a mother of 4, 2 of my children are college graduates, 1 is still in college, my youngest child still lives at home and will be a freshman in HS this September. I am a proud Grandmother of a 18 month old, my family is number one, they have and always will come first. All that I have is mine, I have worked hard and believe that nothing in life is every truly free, you get out of life what you put into it. I have raised my children to allow people in their lives not based on their religious beliefs, color of their skin, gender, sexual or political preferences, we are not anyone's judge, jury or executioner. I believe everyone has to make their own choices, it is not up to me or anyone else to dictate how someone else can live their life. Trash is Trash, Ghetto is Ghetto, *** *** matter what the color of your skin is, or the amount of money you have in the bank - nothing makes you better than anyone else. We define who we are, who we love, and who we choose to let into our lives, life is to short and I am looking to explore and embrace it. One thing I have learned over the last 6 months from dating online is that having money does not automatically mean you have class. Money cannot buy you manners, ethics, morals or class - these qualities are learned and earned.I consider myself faithful, loyal, respectful, funny, honest and trustworthy, I know the difference between right and wrong and believe two wrongs do not make a right. I believe in God and try to attend church on a regular basis. I give of my time and money to causes I believe in, I just completed my 3rd season as a Corporate Team Captain with TNT (Team in Training) raising money for Cancer Research (Google It). I also just finished my 4th half- I am in my 7th year of volunteering with a non-profit group who runs a concession stand for the TWINS, and the VIKINGS. I am a confident, smart, beautiful, bold, curvy, voluptuous, and out-going. I am not your size 6 model and never will be, if that is what you are looking for then move on. I eat healthy, and try to take care of myself, I try to walk at least a 5k ***times a week, or work out if the weather is bad. Physically I am healthy, I see my doctor on a regular basis for the required check-ups, as well as my dentist. I love to read for both educational purposes and for pleasure, I enjoy good music and love to dance. I am an excellent cook and would love to listen to soft music, and sip a nice wine while we cook a meal together. I am not your maid, your cook, or your mother, however, I will be your friend, your confidant, your cheerleader, and your lover. I need a real man, one who works hard, plays hard, lives life to the fullest, and is comfortable in his own skin. I want to share my life with someone who is open to exploring the rest of his life with me, is happy with his life in general.
