I'm laid back and can enjoy doing just about anything if I'm doing it with the right person. I like being outside, but also enjoy reading a book on a rainy weekend. I do my best to live a drama-free life, and to always be kind to everyone I meet. I don't have any kids of my own, but I enjoy children of all ages. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie - I've jumped out of a couple small airplanes and I always ride in the front car of the roller coaster. I have a great life and I can take care of myself, but as good as life already is, I'd love to have someone to share it with. I'm looking for someone to share a pizza and make me laugh. The right person for me will be a good tipper and will always be polite to the waiter/waitress, even when a mistake is made. I think that says a lot about a person. He'll be a hard worker who likes to learn new things and enjoys a mix of going out and relaxing at home. And he'll still be holding my hand and sneaking kisses when we're old. Beau Beagle also requests that he be good at massaging his head in little circles under his floppy beagle ears. For a first date, I'd really enjoy doing something low-key - maybe a museum or doing something outside together.

For many years I thought I had life figured out, then curve ball after curve ball came my way. I always tell my kids, you always have a choice, you may not like the choices but you still have a choice. I chose to move forward and try to make the best of things. I enjoy working out, when I have the time. Taking a yoga class, zumba class or some boxing is actually fun. The work is trying to find the time to go. There are many things I like to do but I don't think they are hobbies. I love movies, going on walks, trying new things and living life to the fullest. I am curently going through some career changes but my goal is to find something I look forward to doing every day. I love a wide array of music and basically only draw the line at polka but with a beer or two even polka sounds good. I have done the 20's drinking years, 30's child bearing years, and a long marriage. I am looking for trying new things but very much enjoy nights at home as well. Is there someone out there that thinks we could be a good fit? I haven't been on a first date for 17 years. I think the main thing for me is a plan. I don't want to do the, where do you want to go, what should we do.... Secondly, even if you don't think we will hit it off, at least listen and treat me well. Be kind, talk with me and for goodness sakes, look me in the eyes. I think I would want my first date to be at a park (biking, hiking, walking, talking) and dinner at someplace out of the ordinary like a little known cafe or mom/pop place.
