I see it as just meeting up with someone... You really can't tell how things will go until you meet someone in person. I think calling it a date is putting way too much pressure on each other. A walk is my favorite way to get to know someone better in person. Or how about going out for a drink?

So.... the part that everyone loves! Pick me, I am great etc.. does anybody actually like writing these??I like to think I am "normal", fun loving, sociable and up for a laugh. I enjoy going out with friends to pubs, restaurants, cinema, gigs...anywhere really. I love all kinds of music and play a little guitar and sing, mostly behind closed doors though! I am pretty active and keep fit running and swimming.I love travelling and have seen a good bit of Europe and America. On the to do list are Australia, New Zealand and South America. Family and friends are hugely important to me and I think I got extremely lucky on both counts. I'm generally a very happy and positive person and figure you should make the most of everything you have. We're here for a good time, not a long time! I am a really independent person and always on the go. I suppose I am here for the same reasons as others, hard to meet people on nights out.It would be great to meet someone with similar interests who is genuine, good fun and doesn't take themselves too seriously. *sigh* I guess I shall try this again.....I am a pretty creative and crafty gal just living in the city. I work in the men's fashion industry and get to travel a lot, which makes me very happy. Since I live in the city, I am seriously taking advantage of everything it has to offer, new bars, restaurants, art shows, live music, happy hours, brunch, frolicking in parks.... I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a ton of things to do, so I definitely like people who appreciate and live here also. While going out is pretty rad, I also enjoy date nights with my couch and roku and being a homebody. I just moved, so I am definitely in a "nesting" phase.
