I've always been a guy who gets excited about things easily. I've always had a thousand questions and a million projects. I like psychology and philosophy, religion and science. I program computers and meditate. It's been very easy to get interested in things, and so at one point or another I've done quite a bit.Lately though, I've begun to slow down and focus more. I've spent a lot of my life rushing toward one goal or another, and I've seen and done a lot, but I've missed a fair bit along the way. Life should be so engrossing that we're forced to choose what's important to us, because there's just not time to do everything we want. And then our choices become precious, and everything carries more meaning. Ideally, anyway. The current focus of my work is compassion, both its nature, how it can be cultivated, and how it can be used to treat mental disorders. In addition to my studies, I am also an avid Tai Chi practitioner and have meditated for many years. I'm fascinated by motivation and inspiration and the sources of creativity, and I love that all of these interests and practices should ultimately tie together with my work. My best dates alway start with something I've cooked. I had a pretty nice first date in a Burmese restaurant once...

I'd say I'm a fairly laid back guy, I chill with friends, read, just being a bit nerdy overall. For the last several years, I do masonry restoration during the summer. I love my work, and the rewarding feeling I get from fixing ***year-old brick buildings to their original condition. Now I'm just doing it part- Not sure which kind of work I like better. Tried the whole "meeting up at a club with 20 of her friends" thing, not the best way to get to know someone right away.
