I'm not really sure where to start....I have been riding horses since I was little, it's a major part of my life. I compete in rodeos and barrel races and ride/train horses as well as work a 40 hr/wk job. My short term goals have a lot to do with adjusting to my new life, new job, new house and working on myself, as I just got out of a 6 yr relationship. -Eventually, I would like to meet someone who I see as my team mate, partner, best friend, but right now, I'm interested in nothing more than taking things slow and really getting to know someone. I love to take drives, fish, hunt, riding 4 wheelers, sit around a campfire, really doing anything outside is fine with me. I do enjoy going out to eat or a movie every once in awhile, but I think I enjoy cooking a good meal and renting a movie more. I like a good night out on the town every now and again, too. I enjoy most all kinds of music, not the biggest fan of heavy metal, and no gospel unless I'm at church. I guess the way I would describe my "uniqueness" is that I'm a hard worker and enjoy getting my hands dirty. Guess that comes with being raised on a farm, and there is satisfaction in knowing your body is sore because you did something. I'm going to go ahead and say this, if you are a "player", manipulator, user, cheater or a liar, do us both a favor and move on along to another profile. If you have trust issues, and have to have somebody at your side ***, I am probably not the girl for you. I spend some weekends going to rodeos, and I do like to do my own thing with my friends sometimes, but I like to spend time majority of my free time with whoever I am dating and my son. Oh, and I am sure I won't be able to get on here all the time, as I stay pretty busy, so it may take me awhile to respond. I honestly can't say I have a "type." Thanks for reading my profile!Well, I'm a single mom to two little ones, who are my world. For work, I am a caseworker and professor, and am truly grateful to have the opportunity to work both positions. I live off of coffee. I have a very strong work-ethic, and respect this in others. I'm at a place in my life where I really am looking for companionship, and if something grows from that, great, but I'm not going to force anything or make it my sole mission. I tend to have more traditional values with dating/gender roles, but am so accustomed to being independent that I may not come across this way. Faith in the Lord, and relying upon Him is important to me. I would consider myself successful, well-rounded, refined yet fun, outgoing, and sociable. Men tend to be attracted to my confidence and the fact that I am the "whole package", but often don't really know what to do with me, or how to keep me. If you are not ready to be in a relationship, or just want a hook up, I'm not that kind of girl. If you drive a mini-van, or live with your mom, you are not for me! You must have a stable (legal) job, a car, be able to support yourself, and not be looking for someone to take care of you; unless of course you are a millionaire, very old, and on your death bed...;-) You must be good with kids and trustworthy, and know I will do a background check on you ;-) I've honestly had bad luck with soldiers, but would not rule you out entirely. I enjoy art, drawing, music, concerts, movies, cooking, baking, traveling, cooking for people, going to the beach, going on day trips, attending sporting events, hanging with family & friends. I have a very diverse taste in music but mainly prefer music created before ***. I am Italian and am very family oriented, I have a huge family and am close with them. Family is a big part of my life and I prefer someone like minded. I work for the Government at Social Services I enjoy my job as I require a job where I feel I am helping the community. My previous job was an Art Teacher at a Catholic School. I love children and miss that aspect as my present job deals with an adult population. I am considering going back to school for my MSW I would like to become a LCSW eventually this is a long term goal. I made a life style change one year ago to eat healthier and go to the gym. I go ***times a week and have lost 90 lbs to date but I am still a work in progress. I enjoy going to my gym it's a very positive environment people encourage you not look down on you for being over weight as some other gyms. My typical routine is Cardio & Strength I switch it up after with different classes to add variety. While I do not presently have health issues I wanted to be proactive and prevent anything in the future. I feel much healthier and happier since my change. I do not have a specific type I go for. Everything varies person to person but mainly I would like someone down to earth, easy going, passionate, caring, affectionate, kind hearted, family oriented, sarcastic a plus. I am open to mostly anything it would depend on the person and what we have in common but preferably somewhere we can talk and get to know each other further
