I don't value looks as they will fade. I value intelligence and personality. Trying this whole internet dating thing out and we'll see what happens. I'm a really laid back person. I enjoy watching football, go Cowboys, hanging out with my friends, hiking, biking, various other outdoor activities, you know, all that stuff that most people like. I have a pretty awesome sense of humor (in my opinion, of course), and can get almost anyone to laugh. I'm also a big fan of bingo! (don't laugh, it's not just for old ladies) and my friends and I try to get up to Foxwoods once a month for bingo, and then shoot craps afterwards. I've also recently started playing blackjack more, and I'm thinking I might enjoy that more than craps.I'm also pretty blunt. People know right away where they stand with me, and I will be the same person from the moment you meet me. I like someone who can challenge me and isn't just a push-over.Right now, I'm going back to school after a 5 year break, to get my degree in Social Work. I want to work with inner city youth, and this is the best path to go about doing that. It'll hopefully be a quick, painless process, but we'll see. I find it admirable when people put others above themselves, or someone who helps others out, so if that's you, we'll most likely get along. While I enjoy going out, I do not like going out to bars and clubs every weekend, so if you are a fan of that, we will probably not have that much fun, since that is the opposite of my idea of a regular thing to do for fun. I honestly wouldn't go very often if my friends didn't convince me to go every so often, but I just find loud, crowded bars not the best environment for fun. Low key bars, pubs, etc. are much more enjoyable. I don't like games, so if that's your thing, I'm not interested. I don't like guessing games. If you're interested, that's great, if not, also fine but don't play the maybe maybe not game.If you aren't single, not interested. It's fine if you have children but if you have baby mama drama, not interested. If you have photos you took in your bathroom, why? If you have multiple photos you took in a bathroom, ESPECIALLY a public one, please reevaluate. There are much better ways to take a picture without telling the world you're in a bathroom. Whatever. I'm easy. Something fun, somewhere we can talk, sporting event, etc.

    Some things about me...I like to experience the great outdoors and new places. I like road trips. I like to cook. I am currently saving for a trip to Europe-- I've never been that far from home. No Risk please, that game takes days! But I loves me some Scrabble or Pai Gow.I'll answer most things relatively openly, so ask away if you're interested! Maybe not the first date, but the Cal Academy of Sciences on Thursday nights is an excellent time waiting to happen. Live music, drinks, and science-- excellent combo. As far as a first date, coffee or food works out as a good start to conversation. Going on a hike at a local park would be fun. I don't have too much experience in the dating scene, what would you want to do?
