Well here I am on a dating web site... with the same hopes as most - to find someone cool. We'll see. I have met some good guys and some guys who were definately not good for me. I think so much of finding the right relationship depends on timing. Maybe this time will be right for me. A first date, for me should be one with an opportunity to talk and get to know each other. It can take place just about anywhere. Dinner is nice. Lunch or coffee is okay. I prefer a glass of wine or a beer to be honest. It makes the situation a little more comfortable. Although, too much drinking is probably not a good idea on a first date either.

It's very hard for me to do this, I feel funny, like I'm selling my personality in a way. I am a very loving, loyal and fun person. I love my family and treat my friends the same. I love to laugh and want to find someone that is serious about me, but can take a joke and dish them out. I'm kind of old-fashioned so I would like a man that apprecited my imput i.e. dislikes and likes, but that took charge and planned the evening himself and was confident in doing that.

I think you just know it's right when you're with the right person--and oftentimes they're not always what you thought you wanted.
