About Me

I am an easy going person - I pretty much get along with everyone and for the most part accept people for who they are. We all have different personalities, goals, outlooks on life, where we want to be and who we desire to be with. I do have to say I tend to stay away from people who are negative, see the glass as half empty *** half full, are mean to others, are totally self absorbed and don't seem to care about others (including me) or seem to have way too much drama. I look at it this way - there's not enough time in the day to deal with all of that - wouldn't you agree? A couple of things that are DEAL BREAKERS for me... if you have an obsessive/abusive personality please don't bother. I WILL NOT put up with anyone doing illegal drugs - PERIOD. So... if you have any of these issues - please don't bother. I can seem a little quiet/shy at first until I get to know and warm up to you a little bit. Don't worry about me though on a first date - I promise I can and will talk. I am not a big talker about myself in larger crowds as I don't feel I need to be the center of attention. Don't get me wrong on this - I'm not an introvert - I do enjoy the company of others and like to have fun with others.I have 2 sons ***& ***who are awesome kids. They are respectful and I enjoy spending time with them and being their Mom. My boys are with me every other week although I do see them during their week with their Dad if there is something going on or they just need me. Their Dad and I do get along - there is not a lot of drama in that area - wouldn't want it any other way. I think it's important for him and I to get along - it's healthier for our sons to show we can get along and we are better parents because of it.I've worked for the same company for over 26 years - as you might be able to gather I'm a dedicated & hard worker. For years I've done volunteer work for a non-profit through my job and am on the Board of Directors for this non-profit organization. This has been an awesome experience as I now am getting to see how much work is involved in organizing various efforts in giving back to our community.Most of my family lives here in Vegas and over the years I've lived here have made many close friends. I enjoy spending time with family & friends - whether it's hanging out, going to the movies, celebrating birthdays, going bowling, going on vacation, going shopping etc... my family and friends are a very important part of my life. I enjoy activities that include the sun & water. If I could live on a tropical island minus the humidity (makes for bad hair days) I would be loving life... ;) I like watching good movies (theater or home), bowling, reading (when I find the time), shopping, decorating my house, running/staying in shape, spending quality time with family/friends, going out or just staying home - the list goes on and on...I'm kind of a "picky" eater though - I just can't help it... I actually do like salad - and not because I am trying to watch my girlish figure ;) I will make an attempt to try something new, but may only try a bite if you are willing to share - lol. People often think I don't eat enough - I enjoy food, but when I'm full - I'm done...I'm looking for a man to spend time with and to enjoy the little and big things in life. Eventually I would like to have a man to spend time with in all aspects of my life and his. I tend to be more attracted to a "man's man", but one who respects a woman and treats her like a lady. I'm very independent and financially stable and expect the same in him. Money isn't everything, but I want to spend time with someone on at least the same level as me - not someone who is "still" trying to make something out of their life. I know life happens and sometimes we are faced with situations beyond our control, but I am really looking for someone who is for the most part happy - is that you???I am most attracted to taller men who have dark hair. If what you have to say about yourself in your profile and your pics are not appealing, I will politely decline your interest in me. Sorry for the honesty, but your attributes as well as attraction is important to me.Men - just a little word of advice - post pics of you smiling and a couple without sunglasses. Women like a man with a gorgeous smile and nice eyes. Meet for a drink/coffee - some where we can actually talk, get to know a little about each other and see if we have "chemistry".Hopefully by the end we would know if there is anything "between" the two of us to know if a second date is a possibility. ;)

    Show me something different, Im sick of the same kinds of guys........oh and please say what you mean and mean what you say....I have no use for men that have no quality to them hahaha.....Im picky and I will not settle for anything less than I deserve...I own my own house, car and everything else I have, full time job and full time student w/a 4.0 gpa so Im not your average blonde.     I think it's crazy that this website asks you to describe your personality in one word. I'm not sure that's even possible. I am a middle school science teacher. I have a son who is in middle school. He drives race cars so I spend a lot of time at the shop or track. I am fairly low key. When I am not at the track I like to workout, read, travel, hang out with my friends and have a glass of wine. I like to cook and love to watch cooking shows (Chopped, Master Chef). I also love to watch Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead, Modern Family, Grey's Anatomy, and Scandal. I love country music, but enjoy other genres as well. I could have sushi for dinner every night. I am a very loyal and honest person and expect the same from the people in my life. I have a little bit of a sarcastic streak too.
