I'm easygoing and look for the best in people, but I'm nobody's fool. I am writing young adult novels (teens) and my background is in journalism, politics and running youth programs as a social worker. A do-gooder with a practical side, I don't take myself too seriously. I enjoy running on the beach or hiking every day (if possible).Change is my friend, and I love shaking up the routine when it gets stale.-to-5 job to consult and write. Last year I visited a writing retreat in a tiny village in the south of France with only 50 people. I can small talk with the best of them, but I'm turned on by deeper conversation. I love eating exotic foods: Indian, Japanese, Thai, French, even vegetarian:), but I'll always have a soft spot for my Mom's Chicken Florentine. I love dessert and will gladly skip dinner for it. Ice cream, cake and brownies are faves.My taste in music runs from classic rock to pop to movie soundtracks to new age. Like goofy movies, guy comedies,dramas and independent films mostly (anything except horror).I consider myself spiritual and gave up Catholicism long ago. (Though does one ever really escape?!)I'd love to hike, run, chow down on good eats, go to a movie, concert, basketball or baseball game with you – or just veg out and eat Ben and Jerry’s. I'm game to try anything once as long it doesn't land me in jail. Although that would be a good thing to write about…! I'd love to meet for coffee/tea and get to know each other a bit. I'm not a big phone or *** -prefer to meet face-to-face for a brief chat. Then a hike or a walk or some other activity. A movie or concert. A few hours at the beach. Farmer's markets. With the right person, anything is fun:)

** UPDATE **First of all I do apologise for not putting more info in before but I just briefly threw a few words in to get started again....with that being said ...My kids are my # 1 priority in my life and always will be...My kids are older and not much time for Mom but I will always be there for them ...BUT...I do have room in my heart and my life for someone special to share in my craziness ....lol I don't want to sound rude but if you think there is any reason that my kids might not be what you are picturing in a future with me ,,,then please just skip me ...thanks:)I love the outdoors and try to do anything I can out there even if it is a silly drive to absolutely no where and getting lost on the way ( I seem to do that often...lol )...I have been here ***years from NS and still manage to lose my way ...heheI enjoy going out for beer and wings, and play pool of course,... love to bowl ...absolutely love to play darts but haven't since I moved here :(I don't want to entertain a couch potato cause there is so much life to live and being on a couch in front of a tv is just a senseless waste but sometimes a cuddle with a good movie is welcome :)I am not sure what else to write but I do know that I want a relationship and I am not looking for a one night stand or just a casual fling to pass time ...so please skip me if that is your intention....Oh I forgot ...please if your pic is not recent ,,,,maybe an update is in order cause meeting someone that has changed in ***years ....well lets just say that I don't enjoy the surprize factor on that part ...lolk that is it for now except the following that I wrote a week ago.....You know that feeling when you actually get butterflies in your belly ... Your heart feels as if it has skipped a beat and can feel it pound outside your chest ... And the sudden loss of breath .... All because you found someone that makes you weak in the knees and you can't get to them soon enough to just look in their eyes and then to be hugged like you have never been hugged before and then the big one ... THE KISS ... The one that just melts you and leaves you longing for just one more .... ALL OF THE ABOVE IS .... what I want and miss so dearly !!! I hope it still exists and that there is someone out there waiting for me to find or for him to finally find me!!!PSI am kinda shy at first so please if you wanna chat .. Message me ...
